Neukölln - Beautiful, light, fourth floor, 28sqm room to sub-let near Templehof (whole 95sqm apartment for three of the six weeks)

The apartment is situated in Neukölln, near Hermannstraße, between the U8 (Leinestraße) and the S-Bahn station Hermannstraße. Both are a five minute walk away. It is very close to Tempelhofer Feld and Hasenheide park. Schillerkiez with its bars and restaurant is in walking distance as are many German, Turkish and Bulgarian supermarkets. The neighbourhood is gentrifying rapidly, but still has saved its Neukölln feel (meaning, you'll find hipster coffee shops and French bars next to shisha cafes and old Eckkneipen and smoky betting halls). Alexanderplatz is ten minutes via U8, the Ringbahn is a very convenient S-Bahn-Line. Kreuzkölln and all its splendor is either walkable or a 5min ride on the subway.

Die Wohnung liegt in Neukölln nahe Hermannstraße, zwischen der U8 (Leinestraße) und dem Ringbahn-Halt Hermannstraße. Beide sind ungefähr 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Tempelhofes Feld ist kurz die Straße rauf und Hasenheide liegt direkt daneben. Im Schillerkiez mit seinen Bars und Restaurants ist in Laufnähe, außerdem gibt es viel deutsche, türkische und bulgarische Supermärkte in der Nähe. Die Gegend ist zwar schon etwas gentrifiziert, aber es fühlt sich noch nach Neukölln an, mit seinen französischen Hipsterbars und Coffee shops neben Spielhallen und Eckkneipen. Zum Alexanderplatz ist es 10min mit der U-Bahn, die Ringbahn ist superpraktisch. Kreuzkölln in all seiner Herrlichkeit ist in Laufnähe, bzw 5min mit der U-Bahn.
WG-Leben

For three of the weeks you'll have the whole apartment to yourself. For the other three, you'll share it with my girlfriend (she has her own bedroom).

She's 36 and works full time in a Migration Research Institute. So it's not a crazy Party-WG. But she's fun and likes to cook, drink wine and talk. The living room is huge and can be used for hosting dinner parties, movie nights, or the occasional friends from out of town. I guess that is it.

Ich bin 36 und arbeite Vollzeit an einem Institut für Migrationsforschung. Es ist also keine superkrasse Party-WG, aber ich bin sehr offen und mag Kochen, Wein und worüber man dabei so redet. Das Wohnzimmer ist recht groß und darin lassen sich gut Dinner-Parties oder Filmabende ausrichten und das Schlafsofa bietet Platz für gelegentlichen Besuch.
