Our apartment is really comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need. There is a big living room with a cozy sofa, an eating table, a lot of books and a big TV. In the sleeping room there is a big bed (160x200cm). Our kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals, washing your clothes and feeling at home. Of course there is a cozy bathroom with a shower and WC. Because of the large windows, there is always a lot of light in the flat in every room. Also you can use the backyard, there is a little garden with a massive walnut tree. The neighbours are really friendly, it's not the anonymous atmosphere which is actually typical for Berlin.
There is good public transport close to the flat. For example the trainstation "Wilhelmsruh" there you have the S-Bahn S1 and S26. It takes you in 10 minutes in the city center. The station is around 6 minutes by foot from the flat. Also there is a bus (155) going to trainstation "Pankow" in 10 minutes, the busstop is 2 minutes by foot just around the corner. Also you can get by bycicle to stations "Schönholz"; "Wollankstraße"; "Bornholmer Straße" and "Pankow" in less than 10 minutes.
For your grocery there is an Edeka and a Norma around the corner (2-5min). Also you have Rewe, Kaufland and a Shopping Mall (Rathaus Center) just 6 minutes by bycicle close to the flat.
The area here is really green, in front of the house there is a small lake, also a little forest calls "Schönholzer Heide" and the Park ("Bürgerpark") isn't far away. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly.
We really want someone or a couple who is taking care of our flat and furniture. So for us it's important to meet each other before you move in.You can try to contact us any time (but nightime), preferred by E-mail.
