A beautiful, renovated 2.5 room apartment on a Bauhaus area, with a lot of green around and still very close to public transportation (S1 / X48 bus), supermarket (Edeka etc.) The size of the apartment is 55 square meters, but due to perfect layout and zero wasted space, it feels bigger.
APARTMENT:
It's a 2.5 room apartment, totally renovated a few years ago. Perfect for a single or for a couple, but not for sharing (WG) - since one of the room is a walk-thru room.
The apartment has 2 rooms of the same size (ca. 16 square meters each), one of them with a balcony.
Apart from it it has a beautiful built-in kitchen (built 2 years ago, not including the fridge and washing machine) and a bathroom with a bathtub and a good dry cellar.
The kitchen has a Ceran cooking plate and an oven. The bathroom has a window and a bathtub.
The apartment is heated with district central heating (Fernwärme, the cheapest way of heating - which is very important these days...).
The entrance hall is 9 square meters and is square, so it's perfect for a working corner and cupboards.
The floor is wooden (Dielen) and everything is in very good condition.
The apartment is Hochparterre (raised ground floor / mezzanine) - so it's raised from the street and you still get all the privacy. It's also sunny - it has the rooms and balcony facing south-east, the bathroom and the kitchen are facing south-west.
LOCATION:
The apartment is located on Mörchinger Straße, which is a beautiful quiet street with a lot of 1920's bauhaus buildings and green gardens all around.
The block has a closed private garden in the back, so it's not available from the street but you can use it.
The whole area is under preservation law (Denkmalschutz).
It is still very close (4 minute walk) to S-Bahn S1 line - Sundgauer Straße station - from which you can reach the center of Berlin and Potsdam easily and also the express busses X11 and X48 get you quickly to many other places. It's very close to reach the lakes or the Free University (FU).
There is an EDEKA supermarket just next to the S-Bahn station and an Aldi very closeby.
No broker commission, can be leased from 1st of November.
For long term - we'll sign first for three years - and possibly more later.
