Nice flat available in a leftist house project near Campus

You can find the house in a quiet location close to central campus.
We are currently about 30 people, who live in smaller shared flats in a beautiful yellow brickstone house.
We are looking for new people who are interested in community with many people, political self-administration, exchange and solidarity cooperation.

Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Lage in der Nähe des Zentralcampus.
Wir sind derzeit ca. 30 Leute, die in kleineren Wohngemeinschaften in einem schönen gelben Backsteinhaus leben.
Wir suchen neue Menschen, die Interesse an Gemeinschaft mit vielen Menschen, politischer Selbstverwaltung, Austausch und solidarischer Zusammenarbeit haben.

We aim for a communal life in self-determination and self-administration based on an anti-capitalist, feminist and
racism-critical attitude as well as on intersectionality.

Practically,
we follow a gender-quota to ensure that at least 50 % of the housemates are non-cis-male ("cis" means you identify with the gender adressed to you at birth). Unfortunatly, we are still a very white-dominated house.
As individuals we are trying to move forward in the process of reflecting on white privilege and racism, not only around us but also in our own structures.
We are mostly looking for people who define themselves as Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPoC) or as FLINTA* (Female*Lesbian*Inter*Non-Binary*Trans*Agender people), but are open to all gender applicants.

As a group we share the wish for a life in community as an alternative to isolation and aspire to show consideration for each other and support each other in our everyday lives and challenges. For us it's important to see if you read our announcement completely to make sure you read this information about our values. Please mention your preferred flavor of ice cream when you write to us ;)

Of course we also like to have fun!
That means around our house you can hang in the cellar pub or in the garden. Some of us like to take care of our vegetable beds, others do dance karaoke or boxing in the garden! There are also many opportunities for building and handicrafts, cooking evenings or just chillin' =)

Wir streben ein gemeinschaftliches Leben in Selbstbestimmung und Selbstverwaltung auf der Basis einer antikapitalistischen, feministischen, rassismuskritischen und intersektionalen Haltung an.

Praktisch verfolgen wir eine Gender-Quote, um sicherzustellen, dass mindestens 50 % der Mitbewohner*innen nicht-cis-männlich sind ("cis" zu sein bedeutet, sich mit dem bei der Geburt zugewiesenen Geschlecht zu identifizieren).
Leider sind wir immer noch ein sehr weiß-dominiertes Haus.
Als Einzelpersonen versuchen wir, im Prozess der Reflexion über weiße Privilegien und Rassismus voranzukommen, nicht nur um uns herum, sondern auch in unseren eigenen Strukturen.

Wir bevorzugen BIPoC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) und FLINTA (Female*Lesbian*Inter*Non-Binary*Trans*Agender people) sind aber offen für alle Bewerber*innen :)

Als Gruppe teilen wir den Wunsch nach einem Leben in Gemeinschaft als Alternative zur Isolation und haben den Anspruch, Rücksicht aufeinander zu nehmen und uns gegenseitig in unserem Alltag und bei Herausforderungen zu unterstützen. Für uns ist es wichtig, dass unsere Anzeige bis hier her wirklich gelesen wurde und diese Werte geteilt werden. Wenn du uns schreibst, erwähne daher doch bitte deine Lieblingseissorte ;)

Natürlich haben wir auch gerne viel Spaß miteinander.
Das heißt, bei uns kann man in der Kellerkneipe oder im Garten abhängen. Einige von uns kümmern sich gerne um unsere Gemüsebeete, andere machen Tanz-Karaoke oder boxen im Garten! Es gibt auch viele Möglichkeiten zum
Bauen und Basteln, Kochabende oder einfach nur zum Chillen =)
