Die Wohnung befindet sich in der gemütlichen Leipziger Südvorstadt, einem Wohnviertel mit Gründerzeitflair - perfekt für abendliche Spaziergänge durch die Straßen, aber auch ganz nah an der Natur. Von hier aus seid ihr in Nullkommanix im Grünen: In 5min Minuten ist man am Fockeberg mit Blick über die Stadt, in 10min in Auwald und Wildpark oder direkt am Fluss bzw. im Clara-Zetkin-Park. Einfach ideal für Jogging- oder Radrunden. Mit dem Fahrrad erreicht ihr außerdem in 15 Minuten den Cospudener See.

In die Innenstadt braucht ihr 20min mit den Öffis (Buslinien 89, 60 und 74 in 3-5min fußläufig/ Tramlinien 10 und 11 sind 10min entfernt und fahren im 5-Minuten-Takt in die Innenstadt), 15min mit dem Rad und genauso schnell geht's nach Connewitz, Plagwitz und in alle anderen spannenden Stadtteile.
Parken ist kostenlos und ohne Parkausweis direkt vor der Haustür möglich. Fahrräder lassen sich im von der Straße aus zugänglichen Fahrradkeller abstellen.

Ein besonderer Genuß ist der Konsum schräg gegenüber - der bis 22 Uhr geöffnet hat und das Leben sehr viel leichter macht. :) Ansonsten befinden sich in der Nähe noch ein zweiter Konsum, ein Aldi, ein Lidl, ein Unverpackt-Laden sowie Apotheken, Spätis, Bäcker sowie kleine besondere Läden, Kneipen und Cafés auf der berühmten Karli in unmittelbarer Nähe.

The location of the apartment is simply perfect. Amidst the gorgeous Leipziger Südvorstadt, a residential area of beautiful Gründerzeit design, you will find yourself anywhere you want within a few minutes while your direct neighbourhood is calm and relaxed. Necessities like a supermarket (Konsum, open till 10pm; there are other shops within 15min walking distance) and a bakery can be reached in less than 3 minutes walking. There are lots of restaurants on the Karli (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße) ranging from delicious fast food to finer restaurants, brasseries and so on. Therefore, the area is perfect for morning and evening strolls. The residential area is very calm, you will sleep well. Clubs, concert venues and bars can be easily reached within a few minutes by bike or by a 30 min walk, anyway. On the other hand, the flat is super close to relaxing nature, which is great! The only small hill in Leipzig, the Fockeberg, is just 5 minutes away attracting with lush forest, a playground and many walking paths. You reach a small river in 10 min if you like walking near water. The Auwald, a beautiful and protected forest, is in 15 min walking distance. The lake Cospuden is only 15 min by bike. You can jump in if you are not fearing the cold. The main station (Hauptbahnhof) can be accessed by tram or bus in 20 min or 15 min by bike. As mentioned before, other areas rich of culture are very close: It is a 20 min walk to the center of Connewitz, 15min to Plagwitz and 20 min to the inner city. The tram 10 and 11 and the buses 89, 60 and 74 are just round the corner and connect you reliably, comfortably and fast. Parking is free. Bikes can be stalled in a bike-room in the cellar. Rental bikes (Nextbike and cargo bikes) are abundant in the area.
