Very neat 2 room flat in the 17th district of Paris, steps away from Montmartre for rent directly from the German landlord (no agencies). Available on a yearly rental basis. Shorter stays can be discussed.
You will find renovated rooms with stucco on the ceiling and old wood planks on the floor. The appartment is situated on the fourth floor of a well-kept old building and is exposed to the calm garden side of the property. The main entrance of the building is secured by a digicode while the vestibule entrance is accessible by an interphone system.
There is a large living room with dining and lounge area, a fully-equiped kitchen, a separate master bedroom and a separate bath room.
The kitchen disposes of all necessary pots and dishes, fridge, dish washer, hot plates, coffee maker, toaster, etc. and is open to the living room. In the dining area of the living room you find chairs and a table for your meals as well as a comfortable sofa and an armchair to relax.
The separate bright master bedroom has a king-size double bed (180cm large) and a large built-in wardrobe. The bedroom is exposed to the calm garden side of the property. Believe it or not, but when sleeping with open windows in summer, rather the singing birds than the beat of the city will wake you up. Pillow fillings, duvets, towels and linen can be furnished on request.
The bathroom with WC, vanity and a shower has a window to the inner courtyard and has been recently renovated.
All facilities are up to date. The flat is not available for flat share, because the living room is a connecting room to the bedroom. The flat is ideal for a single person or a couple.
The location of the apartment is within the city's 17th arrondissement, a residential district. Nice restaurants, lots of french bakeries, a daily market out in the streets and various shops for daily needs are just steps away.
MONTMARTRE and SACRE COEUR are a 15min walk away.
The subway (stops: Guy Moquet, La Fourche & Brochand) and various bus-stops are around the corner. On subway line 13 the famous CHAMPS ELYSEES are only 6 stops away.
Bus line 21 brings you downtown to the famous department stores Galeries Lafayette and Printemps as well as to the impressing buildings of opéra Garnier and the Louvre.
Bus line 31 goes across the elegant 17th arrondissement to the Arc de Triomphe and also (in the opposite direction) to the train stations Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est.
The monthly rental does not include cost of electricity (roughly 50EUR based on prices 2021). The contract for the electricity and the monthly bill will be on the name of the tenant. Municipal tax has to be born by the tenant according to the French law.
Regular cleaning of the flat can be coordinated on request. Upon departure a professional cleaning (€100) has to be born by the tenant. Bed-linen and the towels can be provided by the landlord on request.
The landlord is the owner of the flat and no further commissions are requested. The security deposit is 1500 EUR.
The owner speaks English, French, German and Italian. Requests for temporary rental are welcome. According to French law rental agreements have a minimum tenor of one year and can be disrupted anytime with 3-month notice.
Shorter stays can be discussed. Annual rental agreement can be renewed yearly, based on mutual consent.
