Hi we are searching for a new flatmate for our home!
The apartment itself is located on the second floor and consists of three rooms, a large kitchen, a separate bathroom and toilet, and a large hallway that you will share with two other neighbors.
There are enough utensils in the kitchen, so you don't necessarily have to bring your own. We have a microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, and our highlight - a dishwasher! :)
The room is huge (around 30m2) an has a beautiful parquet flooring and furniture.
There's a fee for the following furniture:
- 590€ for a new bed, Lattenrost, desk chair and mattress is less than 1 year old and everything has only been used a few times, plus there is still the receipt for the items
- 350€ Pax wardrobe without signs of use, curtains and a shelf
The apartment itself is located in the middle of the Servietenviertel. In 3-4 minutes you are at the U4 Roßauer Lände and also the streetcar line D leaves within 2 min walking distance. Otherwise, at the Franz-Josef train station, which is a 7 min walk away, you will find the streetcar lines 5 and 33. In addition, at the Franz-Josef train station, there is a Hofer and as a highlight Villa, which is open Mon. to Sun. daily :)
In 2 min walk you will find two Spar, DM, Bipa, Post Office, Erste Bank branch, and actually everything possible, that you need in everyday life. You will find numerous nice cafes, restaurants, and bars in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Also, Danube Canal and Ausarten are within walking distance in a few minutes. In general, the area is super nice, quiet and very green.
There's two of us - me (Katy) and Carlo (Theresa moves out and it's her room for rent).
From Carlo: "I enjoy spending time outdoors doing sports or meeting up with friends - also find peace with museums and art (great for clearing my head!). Between my full-time VC work and recent studies, I keep a busy schedule, so you won't see me glued to the apartment, but always down for fun when I'm free!"
I (Katy, 29) study photography and visual arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Usually you can find me either at University or at desk with a laptop working from home (I'm currently freelancing) In my free time, which is usually not much, I like to walk around the city, go jogging and to a Kendo trainings, play video games and read. I also really like listen to music, concerts and watch movies, so I'm always happy to chat about it!
We are looking for a friendly and tidy person who has experience living in shared apartments and knows how to handle household responsibilities. We're open to discussing WG-organizational stuff and also enjoy chatting in the kitchen from time to time! We aim to maintain a quiet and clean environment for resting, though occasional dinners or gatherings with friends are welcome.
