The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of an older building (common for this part of the city). The building is well kept so there is really no issues in this regard.
Open kitchen, living room, small but separate bedroom and a fairly large bathroom with a bathtub. Additional storage space available with access from the terrace. Renovated in 2014 with high quality appliances.
Perfect for a single person or a couple.
Equipped with:
- electric stove with a glass-ceramic cooktop and an oven,
- dishwasher,
- fridge,
- washing machine,
- compatible with high speed internet from UPC.
Apartment is not furnished, but I am willing to leave some of my stuff (a one year old couch, sleeping mattress etc. - we can discuss it).
The rent includes utilities (water, heating). The new tenant will need to sign a contract with Wien Energie as an electricity provider. As for the internet - so far I have been using high speed UPC internet.
Great location, especially for people working/studying at the University or working at AKH Wien (<10 min walk). 100 meters to Billa, less than 5 min walk to the streetcar stop, less than 10 min walk to the subway station U2 Schottentor. Many pubs and restaurants located within a walking distance.
People living in the building are professionals, mainly in their 40s and 50s.
THERE IS NO PROVISION, the apartment is rented directly from the owner. Initial costs: deposit = 3 months rent + a standard one-time fee for the contract (on the order of 100 EUR). The contract has to be for at least 12 months.
I move out on the 26th of February, so one can move in after that date but the contract would start March 1st.
