Join our English-speaking 3er WG! (Nippes/Weidenpesch)

The apartment is located in Nippes, one of Cologne's charming neighborhoods. The tram stops Mollwitzstraße and Neusser Straße/Gürtel are only a few minutes away and provide excellent connections via lines 12, 13, and 15. Cologne Central Station can be reached in under 15 minutes.

You would live with Meher and Laura. Laura (32, from Bavaria/Germany) has been living in this WG since 2020 & mainly works from home. She likes books, plants, cafés, long walks, going to the gym, taking riding lessons. She is interested in pop culture, politics, feminism, vegan recipes, and is always up for a slice of cake. Meher (31 years old, is from Pakistan) has been living in Germany for 5 years and in this WG for 2 years. Meher likes cute cozy cafes, nice walks, netflix, books, nature, pilates and spin classes. She is always up for a cutesy WG hangout or a fun adventure.

We're looking for a female long-term flatmate who is hoping to find a home rather than just a room. For our WG life, it's important to us that we feel comfortable and safe around each other and genuinely enjoy living together. This can mean anything from chatting in the kitchen after work and sharing stories from our day to occasionally going to the cinema or grabbing a coffee or dinner together, while also respecting each other's routines, privacy, and need for quiet time. We value open communication and consideration, including giving each other a quick heads-up about visitors. Guests are always welcome, but we'd prefer overnight stays to remain occasional rather than becoming a regular weekly routine. The flat language is mostly English and we are a non-smoking household. We're not a party WG and usually enjoy fairly quiet evenings, but we do value spending time together and maintaining welcoming atmosphere.

If this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to hear a bit about you, your interests, what your everyday life looks like, and what you're looking for in a shared home.😊 Looking forward to meeting you!

The monthly rent for the room is:

470 € rent, heating and utilities (paid directly to the landlord).
67 € for electricity, internet and GiZ fees paid to Laura.

The security deposit (660 euro) is paid separately.

In addition, there is a one-time payment of 800 € for the fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, kitchen inventory, and the refrigerator that was purchased 2 years ago. The kitchen includes high-quality AEG appliances (induction stove, oven, and microwave).

The wardrobe, desk, and shelving unit currently in the room can be taken over for free.
