Light & airy studio in a freshly-renovated Altbau by the canal in Kreuzberg. The main room is a good space big enough for separate bed, dining and living areas. The separate kitchen area also fits a table & comes with a washer+dryer in a separate cupboard space. The bathroom is also a good size with huge shower. It's a perfect low-maintenance space that's compact but still big enough to have friends over. I've loved living here & it's been the perfect starter apartment in Berlin for me.
The place is unfurnished but we can chat if there's something here that you'd like hold on to (I'm fairly attached to the bed and sofa though) it's all a year old max so 'like new'. It didn't have curtains but they're yours free of charge!
The place is very quiet but right next to the clubs and bars of Wrangelkiez and Schlesisches Straße, so you have the best of both worlds. S Treptower Park & U Schlesisches Tor are walking distance ( S&U Warschauer Straße is about 15mins away too) and there are bus links towards Mitte ans Schöneweide too. There are supermarkets, restaurants and spätis close by too. If you like being near fun but having quiet too then it's a great location for you!
In general it's been a great place to live! The utilities are cheap, the internet is fast, it's not too cold in winter or too hot in summer, the neighbours are quiet and it's close to everything you need! I wanted a nice space that's cheap enough to rent & furnish in a relaxed but central location and it's been exactly that for me!
You'll need standard Schufa (jetzt beantragen) etc. stuff to prove creditworthiness & a letter from a previous landlord (unless you're new to Germany)
