Hi there!
We are Rose and Dennis. We will be travelling, therefore, subletting our green and bright studio apartment with lots of plants in 12247, Lankwitz (S25/S26) for 4 weeks from Sun, 20.08. (or today) to Sun,17.09. It's in a quiet area with big trees, a library, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Closest stations are S-Lankwitz or S-Lichterfelder Ost, 10 mins to Yorckstrasse, 20 mins to Brandenburger Tor by train.
About Us
Rose is an artist and Dennis is an architect. Together, we are plant enthusiasts and urban gardeners. We live with good conscience and harmony, and have good knowledge about art, architecture, mountains, food and wine. We speak English and German.
Who We Are Looking For
Ideally, a friendly, trustworthy and reliable person (or couple) who LOVE plants. They must have experience in caring for plants, clean, non-smokers and have good common sense, i.e. being able to make sound and practical judgement on everyday matters. Pets are not suitable for the apartment.
We kindly ask you NOT to write to us, if you are NOT ALL of the above.
Our Home
Approx. 65m2 (incl. balcony), plus a car space. You will be accompanied by houseplants (watering once a week) and an edible garden of herbs, vegetables and flowers (watering once every two days if not raining, our neighbours will help when you cannot do it). We happily share the produce from the garden during your stay. The home has an open plan living room and a nook where you will be sleeping on a comfortable designer sofa bed. You´re welcome to use our internet, spices, bed sheets, pillows, blankets, towels and washing machine. Invite a couple of friends for dinner, but parties are not allowed.
Rent
The rent is €750 for one person or €950 for a couple, payable in advance. A Deposit of €500 is required and will be returned on the day of your departure. We will require a copy of your identity card or passport. There will be one set of keys.
When We Travel
We will be travelling from 24 Aug and be back on 15 Sep. There will be an overlap with your stay during the 4 week period, but we will explain further when we meet.
If this sounds like a fit, please write a bit about you and how you see yourself living in the apartment. We will contact up to 5 suitable applicants for appointments this week. Though we will not be able to reply to everyone, rest assured, your time and effort are much appreciated.
