The Wins Kiez, or neighborhood, is a popular area of Prenzlauer Berg, with many cafes, restaurants and other amenities, located near Mitte (5 min. to Alexander Platz) as well as Volkspark Friedrichshain. The Tram M2 is only a 1 minute walk away, and connects one quickly to Alexander Platz (just 3 stops away) or the S/Ring Bahn at Prenzlauer Allee station. Only a few minutes walking distance from the flat are the Volkshochschule (offering many classes at a low cost, including German for foreigners), the Wasserturm and Park (Water Tower and Park) and Kollwitz Platz (Saturday and Thursday markets).
