FOR ENGLISH VERSION, PLEASE SCROLL DOWN!
Next door is a Döner that is open 24/7.
Vielen Dank!
Nicolas
Since I will be travelling abroad for 5 weeks (February 19th-March 25th), I am subletting my cozy, freshly renovated right on the Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauerberg. The flat is in the furthest back courtyard and thus very quiet - no street or train noise at all. Thanks to it being situated on the 4th floor and facing south east, it is also very bright. And because it was renovated last year, it gets warm fast and stays warm.
There is a small bathroom with a tub, as well as a new kitchen with everything you need: induction stove, oven, big fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. Everything in the kitchen may be used. The studio/living room/bedroom occupies the largest part of the apartment and is about 35 square meters large. Oak floorboards, lots of plants, a large bed, a loggia/balcony, as well as a comfortable working space with an external monitor and an electrically height-adjustable desk make this room a place where you'll feel comfortable, whether working or relaxing.
Special notice:
- There are lots of instruments (harmonium, analog synths, guitars, tape-delay) that can be used under certain circumstances
- I have a bike that can be used (its a tall frame though, I'm 184cm)
- Momentarily, there's construction going on on the roof, which is why there is facade scaffolding set up and there may be loud construction noises during the daytime
- There is no internet in this apartment. I cherish the calmness of not having any, but if you need it desperately, you should get a wifi USB stick or explore the cafes in the area.
- The monthly rent with all costs included is around 700€. So for the full 5 weeks= 850€ but since I'm quite late on this one, I'll give it up for 700 €.
Public transportation is only three minutes away by foot (S+U-Bahn Schönhauser Allee), the ringbahn, U2, other S-Bahns and the tram allow quick access to all other neighborhoods! The flat is situated on the north end of the Gleimkiez - this neighborhood is rather calm. Anyone looking for more action and bars need only walk 5 minutes south, Gleimstr/Stargarderstr are buzzing with restaurants, cafés, bars and a movie theatre. Eberswalderstr and Kastanienallee are one stop or 12 minutes by foot away. Walk around the block and you'll find a small park with a basketball and soccer court, ping pong tables, a playground and lots of benchs. In its proximity there are lots of cafés and yoga-centers. The Mauerpark is 10-15 minutes by foot.
Right next to the apartment is an organic supermarket (Alnatura) and a DM, next to the park is a Rewe supermarket and a Veganz. In the Schönhauser Arcaden shopping mall there are lots of other stores and a discounter supermarket. Next door is a Döner Kebap that is open 24/7.
Because this is my own flat, it is freshly renovated and lots of personally valuable objects are inside, I expect the tenant to treat the apartment with mindful respect. You can smoke on the balcony.
During the day I'm mostly busy so best write me a message with your number via SMS or Email and I'll get back to you.
Thank you,
Nicolas
