Hello everyone!
My girlfriend, our dog and me are subletting our apartment in Prenzlauer Berg from the 10th of April until the 15th of August.
*General info?*
It is a one-room apartment, 55qm large and the rent is 600€ (including Internet, Gas, GEZ, and a fee for subletting by the housing company). The deposit is 1.5 monthly rents, hence 900€. We do not want to make any profit with the rent, we just want our costs covered and are happy to be fully transparent there! It is furnished, the only things you need to bring are a mattress (the frame is 140x200), sheets and bed linen, towels, and some pots or pans for the kitchen according to your gusto. If you want more than two glasses that have not been chickpea jars in their previous life, you might also want to bring some of those. There is no separate bedroom, however, we installed a curtain to divide the large room into two areas.
*Who is eligible?*
We are looking for someone who is comfortable with the dates given above (as unfortunately we are not able to be very flexible there), reliable, vacuum-cleans from time to time, and can take care of plants (important point). As we have a dog who is pretty intolerant (in opposition to us) and pees everything that another animal has touched, cats or dogs aren't an option, sorry about that. We are trying to get rid of the dog hair as much as possible, but as you can see in the photos, that guy is everywhere. If you are allergic to dog hair, it might not be your favourite place. Lastly, bonus is given if you are vegetarian and a fan of Little Simz.
*Location*
The apartment is located in Helmholtzkiez, a safe, vivid Kiez in Prenzlauer Berg with thousands of cafés and restaurants. Next stations for public transport are the tram station Husemannstraße and the S-Bahn station Prenzlauer Allee, where you can catch the Ringbahn to literally all around Berlin. Further, you can park your bicycle in the inner yard and there is Bewohnerparken around Helmholtzplatz.
*What's the downside?*
Anmeldung is most likely not possible (classic), and we have to store some of our things in the apartment, so you will have to live with four big-ass boxes standing around in a corner. We will make sure that everything else is empty for you to unfold. Promise!
In case this post speaks to you, send me a message in English, German or Spanish with a short introduction of yourself, and we can arrange a viewing, online or in person. :)
