After a nice 1+ year here, I'm searching for a new tenant to take over as I'll leave Germany.
Apartment:
- The balcony is large and overlooks a large courtyard/carpark of Edeka.
- The bathroom is at the end of the entrance corridor and it's spacious.
- Lots of sunlight throughout the day in the apartment.
- The main room is accessed through a door from the entrance corridor.
- While the kitchen is small (it's in a small room of its own together with the washing machine) it faces the balcony with a window so it doesn't feel so small. Two hotplates, a small fridge, and a cupboard overhead are in the kitchen.
Furniture:
- Included in the compensation payment is the washing machine (originally 290, I have the original receipt from Amazon), and table and 4 chairs (from Ikea, bought for approx. 800 EUR).
- What I'll include for free is my mattress, bed, and lattenroste, and the curtains if you need.
- There is a built-in wardrobe in the entrance corridor.
Location:
- The flat is 5 mins from the Oberbilker Markt U-Bahn and line 706. Also 5 mins from Ellerstrasse U-Bahn in the other direction.
- The Hauptbahnhof is about 10 mins away on foot, and Volksgarten isn't too far.
- Edeka and Penny are nearby, and lots of Turkish supermarkets and nice restaurants.
Other:
It's pretty warm in winter and so I don't use much energy for heating.
