Since I am studying abroad during my fifth semester, I would like to sublease my room.
I would recommend my room especially for students that have to learn Dutch during the summer, who are not jet entirely sure whether studying at Maastricht University will be the right decision, or to those who simply want to live cheap AND central.
The house is inhabited by eleven students. They all got their own rooms. The majority is Dutch and German. They are studying Medicine, Psychology, International Business or European Studies (...). Some of the Dutch students are members of one or two student associations such as AEISECC, Allicht, Silenus, or Circumflex. All of them are very kind, helpful and open minded (this is more the exception of the rule!!!). Some of them will eventually invite you to join them for their activities or parties. There are two bathrooms, a kitchen (even though everyone cooks in their own room), fast Internet connection (additional 25 euro for 6 month), a washing machine (additional 20 euro for 6 month) and a big backyard for BBQ and bikes. Given the façade of the house it was more of a coincidence that I moved in here. However it is one of those you are happy about.
The room is approx. 15 square meters big. It has a kitchenette, heater, fireplace (not functional). Furthermore, I installed two new locks which should manage to secure your belongings. The furniture I will leave you in there are the following:
