It is a furnished large studio apartment in a renovated old building in a great location in Neuenheim. It has high ceilings, large windows and wooden floorboards.
The apartment is fully furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen, tv and washing machine. All you need to bring are bedsheets.
The apartment is at ground level and has its own separate entrance from the courtyard, where there is also a small table with chairs.
The best thing about the apartment is its location, which couldn’t be any better in my opinion. From here you’re basically everywhere in Heidelberg within 5-10 minutes by bike. It is 5 minutes by bike to Neuenheimer Feld and to the Altstadt, and 3 minutes to Bismarkplatz.
There is a supermarket, public transportation, a cinema and lots of cafes directly in front of the door. Even though it is so centrally located, the apartment itself is in the “Hinterhaus” (the house behind the house you see from the street), so it is still completely quiet and you do not hear the street noise.
The rent including all bills (water, electricity, heating, internet etc) is 680€ per month. There is a refundable deposit (“Kaution”) of 1200€. Apart from that, there are no other costs.
The landlord prefers to rent the apartment to just one person (so the apartment is not suitable for couples/families).
The rental period is fixed from 1 October 2019 to 1 March 2020 and is not negotiable.
