The room is very quiet and bright, overlooking the courtyard. It is fully furnished with a couch, a large bed (King size - 200cm x 180cm), with lamps and bedside tables on each side. It features a huge closet where enough space is provided for your clothes. Additional storage for suitcases and such is also available. The room also includes a desk as a large workstation, and a Vitra office chair. The plants in the room need to be watered as they are very dear to me, or I can take care of watering them. The computers in the pictures are not included in the rental.
There will be fresh Towels and fresh bed linen and sheets when you need them.
The location is in Neukölln, right next to U-Bahn Boddinstrasse (1min. walk) - a vibrant and multicultural district with lively streets full of supermarkets, discount stores, turkish and arabic street food, bakeries etc.. Everything you need is right outside the door, including upscale and low-priced restaurants, second-hand stores (both cheap and high-end designer stuff), bars, and cafes, all frequented by an arty and creative crowd.
Very Important: No parties, no noise, and quiet hours start at around 11:00 PM. I work from home as a freelance writer and director and need a conducive atmosphere for working during the day. I occasionally have calls and visits, which should remain within a moderate daily noise level.
The layout of the apartment is quite unique and the rooms are close to each other, so it's important that we don't disturb each other. I like to listen to music during the day while working, but always at a moderate volume.
The kitchen and bathroom is well-equipped with a dishwasher and gas stove, washing machine and dryer (if needed) along with everything else needed for cooking.
I try to keep the kitchen and bathroom as clean as possible and clean up after cooking. I am not overly meticulous, but I do appreciate cleanliness and would like a roommate who values this as well.
I welcome applications from individuals who are employed in a regular job, or stay here for working or traveling, again, please no party-crowd, naturally the person should be nice, friendly, and respectful.
The rent is initially limited to 2 months. For special requests or shorter stays (1 month), please feel free to inquire. In specific cases, we may be able to make an exception.
