Die Dachwohnung im gemütlichen Martinsviertel* liegt zentral. Durch den schönen Stadtpark "Herrngarten" läuft man 14min zur Innenstadt und 10min zum Campus "TU Stadtmitte" mit Mensa und Bibliothek.
ÖPNV-Anbindung ist prima: Ab der Wohnungstür läuft man 2min zu den Straßenbahn-Linien 4, 5, 7, 8, sowie L-Bus u.a.

Einkaufen kann man nach 5-8min Fußweg bei tegut+netto, Aldi(+Hundertwasserhaus "Waldspirale"), Penny oder Rewe.

Noch näher sind u.a. ein veganer Laden, ein Kiosk mit Postladen und außen-Postkasten, ein Bioladen, Sparkassenfiliale mit Geldautomat, 2 Apotheken, Hausärztin, Döner, 2 Bäcker, 2 Cafés, 2 Frisöre, 3 Restaurants (eins mit Bar), sowie 2 Fahrradläden.
Wenig weiter gibt es den Bürgerpark inkl. günstigem Frei- & Hallenbad und Sportplätzen, ein ethisch bewusstes Bistro und 4 Copyshops.

Pakete kann man gleich um die Ecke abholen, wenn bei Zustellung keiner zu Hause war.

* Jeder Heiner (Darmstädter) weiß, dass das Martinsviertel das schönste Viertel ist. ;) Wie entzückend, dass wir ausgerechnet darin leben...! ^_^

The attic flat in the cosy neighbourhood "Martinsviertel"* is located centrally. Through the beautiful city park "Herrngarten", you walk 14min to the inner city and 10min to the campus "TU Stadtmitte" with canteen and library.
Public transport connections are neat: From the flat door you walk 2min to tram lines 4, 5, 7, 8, as well as bus L among others.

Groceries are available after 5-8min footway at tegut+netto, Aldi(+Hundertwasser house "Waldspirale"), Penny or Rewe.

Even nearer you'll find, among others, a vegan shop, a kiosk with post office and outside postbox, an organic shop, Sparkasse branch office with bancomat, 2 pharmacies, general practicioner, Döner, 2 bakers, 2 cafés, 2 hairdressers, 3 restaurants (one with bar), as well as 2 bike shops.
Little further are the Bürgerpark incl. low-priced swimming pool (outdoor & indoor) and sports fields, an ethically conscious bistro and 4 copy shops.

Packages can be picked up right around the corner, when no one was home during delivery.

* Every "Heiner" (Darmstadtian) knows, that the Martinsviertel is the most beautiful quarter. ;) How splendid, that we happen to live in it...! ^_^

Wir verstehen uns super und in der Wohnküche ergeben sich oft Plaudereien, gemeinsame Mahlzeiten und Gitarre-Ukulele-Jams. (Als Party-WG sehen wir uns aber nicht.)

Desna (19,93) startet ihr Wirtschaftspsychologiestudium an der h_da. Die spontane Indonesierin spielt seit Kurzem Ukulele und ist ein regelrechter Filmfreak.

Vitor und Aaron sind beste Freunde und sogar in einer offiziellen Bromance! xD

Vitor (27) ist ein Softwareentwickler aus Portugal. Er ist "Flexiganer" (er tendiert zum Veganismus, isst aber noch gelegentlich Fleisch), liebt Musik und ist Virtuos auf seinen Gitarren.

Hi ich bin Filipa (quasi 22) und ich bin auch aus Portugal zugereist ;) Ich werde ein Praktikum in einem Frankfurter Architekturbüro machen. Ich habe gerade mein Erasmus in Darmstadt hinter mir und habe es da geliebt!
Ich liebe Menschen, gute Musik, gutes Essen, Reisen natürlich und Zeichnen ist meine Leidenschaft. :)

Huhu, Aaron (30) hier. Ich studiere eigentlich Wirtschaftsinformatik, suche momentan aber erst mal einen Job. Ich bin Veganer, aber nicht militant. :) Nichtsdestoweniger schlägt mein Herz für Grundrechte und Leid-Reduktion für alle fühlenden Lebensformen, durch effektiven Altruismus. Ich liebe Persönlichkeitsentwicklung, Psychologie, Rationalität, Transhumanismus, Futurismus, die technologische Singularität, Ethik und Philosophie; Beachvolleyball, Tischtennis; sowie (Comedy)serien gucken.

Noch ein paar Worte zur WG-Ausstattung - wir bieten:
eine Katze (bald?), Geschirrspüler, Gefrierbox, ordentlich Kühlschrankplatz, Waschmaschine direkt in der Wohnung, Mikrowelle, mehrere WG-Fahrräder, Drucker/Scanner/Kopierer, viel Lagerplatz u.a. im Keller, besonders ökologischen Strom von Greenpeace, sowie eine Menge nützlicher Sachen zur gemeinsamen Nutzung, z.B. Werkzeug; (absichtlich keinen Fernseher in der gemeinsamen Wohnküche)

Die Wohnküche (und das Haus mit Garten insgesamt) lassen sich als super gemütlich beschreiben! Das meiste besteht aus Holz und die Wände sind in warmen Farben bemalt. Das passt gut zur freundlichen WG-Atmosphäre.

Du kannst Dich mit Deinem Laptop im Garten sonnen - mit WLAN und Strom.

A few words on the flat share's facilities [Ausstattung] - we offer:
a cat (soon?), dishwasher, freezer, plenty fridge space, washing machine right in the flat, microwave, several flat share bikes, printer/scanner/copier, plenty storage space in the basement among others, extra ecological current from Greenpeace, as well as an abundance of useful stuff for shared usage, e.g. tools; (purposely no TV in the shared eat-in kitchen [Wohnküche])

The eat-in kitchen [Wohnküche] (and the house with garden as a whole) can be described as super cosy! Most things consist of wood and the walls are painted in warm colors. That fits well with the friendly flat share atmosphere.

You can take your laptop to the garden to catch some sun - there's WiFi and current.
