We are looking for a zwischenmieter for our cozy home in Handschuhsheim, Heidelberg from 26.07-26.08.2023. Suitable for a family with kids, but everyone is welcome.
The house is located in the old part of Handschuhsheim, surrounded by a calm, family friendly neighborhood, close to the forest. It has grapevines, figtrees and a vegetable garden in front. Inside on the bottom floor you will find a living room with an extra sleeping space or yoga area, the kitchen with a wood burning stove, and the bathroom. Upstairs is a workspace and a big sleepingroom. From there leads a ladder even higher up to an extra little sleeping nest (only for good climbers :)) All the rooms have beautiful wooden floors and oldfashioned double windows. The kitchen and bathroom have tile floors.
The bathroom is small with a shower and toilet. In total, the house is 80 square meters.
The sleeping options are 1 big bed 2m x 2,20m, one sleepingcouch 1,40 x 2,00m, attic 1,40 x 2,00m.
We live here with our 2 year old, it is an excellent house for kids.
A 10 minute walk to Hans-Thoma-Platz, there are shops, bakeries, cafes and public transportation. There is also a nice park with a playground. In the other direction from the house, you will quickly be in the forest. You can reach the Altstadt with tram or bike in 15 min.
The house has WiFi.
It would be awesome if you like gardens and don't mind watering it, but it is no must.
