You're not a fan of clubs, group assemblies or any inconsiderate individualism these months, if You value reading this.
You don't even like the idea of bejng forced into quarantaine just because someone close is insisting on his/her self-absorbed notion of fun and ignores some inconvenient facts.
The following info obviously delivers material from and for more consistent circumstances than we have these months. So, welcome:
Furnished room in Pankow , 'Flora-Kiez',
building from 1920's ("Bauhaus", protected national heritage monument),
international neighbourhood # Italian, English, Russian, Austrian, German.
10 min. to centre by S&U-Bahn (Alexanderplatz/Friedrichstr.), just 2 stops to PrenzlauerBerg;
2 parks around the corner connected by the Panke-stream, a veritable footsoak-oasis in 35-degree-summer-weeks. boulder-hall as well. but table-tennis has turned out to be the real thing, as nothing liberates the mind more from screenwork-overdoses.
flat has 3 rooms, very sunny, 75metres, balcony. Maximum of 3 people under this seventy-five-metres- roof, but 2 is more regular.
Non smoking indeed. The room's furniture is of higher standard than that ikea-cosmos, but flexible as regards reduction, e.g. the japanese style wooden bed (1,40x2,00) can be built up or down within 3 minutes. Chair/carpet-options other than on the pics are easily and quickly feasible)
Vegetarians will have it easier to be part here; in fact, no piece of meat has touched the kitchen since ages.
One can focus on her or his 'berlin-mission" perfectly as well as join good cooking, creative and sportive acts; italian and nordic searchers from fields like thinktankfilling, architecture, media, textbaking ... have gained a certain tradition, but even german speakers and struggling outcasts like broad - accent - Viennese get a warm welcome to introduce themselves and their paths in the city.
Please consider that generally tons of texts arrive for any room offer, and it could happen that we can't answer Yours to Your satisfaction (or even at all; only since that Berlin hype started) . The less bla-bla and the more A-HA we feel reading Your message, a mindful personal statement, bearing all basic information of aims/time of stay etc. , the better.
cheers,
*Pete
