This apartment will be a cozy and happy home during your stay in Berlin. Located in Fidicinstr, a [historically rich](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bergmannkiez#Fidicinstra%C3%9Fe) and quiet street in one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods of Berlin - [Bergmannkiez](https://www.visitberlin.de/en/bergmannstrasse), it offers instant access to some of the best bars and restaurants in town, is 15 minutes bike or train ride away from Berlin downtown (Mitte) and is surrounded by four parks.
The apartment was renovated and furnished by owners for self use. It offers beautiful and functional designer furniture and thought-through details and lightning. It is ready for you to move in just with your suitcase.
This spacious, bright and quiet 3-room apartment is located on the 4th floor of a 5 floor building.
It has 3 living rooms - reception/dining room, bedroom, study/guest room - and a standalone kitchen room, bathroom, laundry room as well as a 6m3 basement cellar.

Bergmannkiez is a former American quarter and one of the most picturesque neighbourhoods in Berlin. The neighbourhood itself has many bars, restaurants and cafes. It is also located in close proximity to other vibrant neighbourhoods ([Graefenkiez](https://awesomeberlin.net/berlin-neighborhood-guide-graefestrasse/), [Schöneberg](https://www.berlin.de/en/districts/schoeneberg/)) and Mitte. It offers an amazing mix, where you can find both affordable homelike and Michelin star restaurants nearby.
🌳 **Parks**
What we love the most in the hood though are parks - there are 4 of them nearby:
- 18th century [Victoria Park](https://www.visitberlin.de/en/viktoriapark), offering one of the most beautiful sunsets in Berlin.
- [Tempelhof Field](https://www.visitberlin.de/en/tempelhofer-feld-tempelhof-field), a former airport and a modern day Mecca for hobbies in Berlin, where you can find people jogging, dancing, skating, wind-skating. You name it.
- [Hasenheide](https://www.visitberlin.de/en/hasenheide-park) a place for picnics and raves. It also has a small zoo with farm animals.
- [Gleisdreieck](https://www.visitberlin.de/en/park-gleisdreieck) park is an urban park with a skateboarding ramp.
On top of it, there are many more green areas - the whole neighbourhood is very green and peaceful.
🛍 **Shopping and infrastructure**
You can find anything you need in walking distance. There are many supermarkets, hairdresser and beauty salons in the hood. There are gyms, dance studios and a CrossFit box.
On Saturday there is a farm market on the parallel street to the apartment. There is also [Marheineke market](https://www.visitberlin.de/en/marheineke-markthalle) - under the roof market that is open all days except Sundays and offers local, French and Mediterranean food and much more. Most of shops are closed in Germany on Sundays, but there is a small bakery/convenience store near our building which works on Sunday and helps with emergency wine or ice cream purchases.
**🚖 Transport and parking**
The closest subway station, Platz de Luftbrucke (U6), is 5 minutes walk (if you check on Google maps it’s 10 but they don’t show the exit near the flat for some reason).
Parking is not available in the building but you can leave the car outside. There is a free parking lot not far from the house.
As a little extra, we offer 2 bicycles which can be parked in the internal yard of the building.
👪 The apartment can host 2-3 people.
🐕 Pets can be allowed with explicit consent from the owner.
🚭 No smoking inside of the apartment.
👨🦽 There is no elevator in the building and unfortunately this apartment is not optimal for people who use wheelchairs.
🚰 Heating and electricity bills are included at average level of consumption.
🍿 Streaming and downloading unlicensed content is illegal and punished with huge fines in Germany. In case this illegal activity occurs, bills will be charged to the tenant.
🌱 All plants in the apartment are low-maintenance and need watering 1 time a week in summer and 1 time in 2-2.5 weeks in winter.
🧹 Deep cleaning must be done on move out. Although optional, we would give preference to tenants who allow a cleaning helper to come every 2 weeks. Light cleaning usually takes 4 hours and costs €50. You can also request ironing at an additional cost.
⏳ Duration of stay is 12 months with a possibility to extend.
