A bright and airy fully furnished apartment in the heart of Neükolln is available to rent from January for 12 months (renewable). The apartment is currently set up as two bedrooms and a living room (all three of these rooms are very spacious). In addition there is a bathroom (with shower and tub), kitchen, utility room (with washing machine and fridge freezer), and cellar space. One of the bedrooms has a balcony. The rent includes gas, electricity, Internet, and some phone use (free calls to US and Europe landline calls).

This is not a classic flat-share as you would have the apartment to yourself/selves, but as the chief tenant I would come from time to time during the year, always by advance mutual agreement. The rent reflects this and at 700 euros is all-inclusive.

The flat has high ceilings and wooden floors, it is clean, fresh and decorated in a simple yet funky/retro way, leaving room for the tenant(s) to add a personal touch if they have pictures to hang etc.

It is fantastically well-connected only 2 minutes walk to the U7 and Ring-bahn (S-Bahn) and with direct busses to Schonefeld Airport and throughout the city

The area is ‘real’ Neükolln, Dorothy you are not in Charlottenburg anymore, but with that the ‘kiez’ is safe and friendly, the neighbours are friendly and it is a reasonably quiet place to live. New bars, cafes and restaurants are opening regularly and the day to day necessities are well catered for by numerous nearby supermarkets (Real, Aldi, Lidl, etc) and all further retail needs met by the nearby Neukollner Tor shopping centre. Other nearby amenities include a launderette, video-shop, internet-cafes, and a shoe repair shop.
