the second room is used as an office. you'd have the place totally to yourself.
The space is regularly being upgraded -- we just got it a few months ago and are doing a total overhaul (eventually it's gonna be a writer's study/photographer's studio/workspace/playground for us ;). Upgrading does not mean noisy construction projects; more just like: making it nicer.
The downside of the space is that it's not very bright -- ground floor, inner courtyard apartment. But we find it cosy. And the apartment has a little table outside where you can sit with morning coffee, weather permitting.
