I offer a freshly renovated, fully furnished and equipped apartment only 10 minutes away from TU Dortmund University. :-) The apartment has two bedrooms (11 and 14 sqm), a huge living room with access to a cozy balcony, a bathroom and a kitchen as well as basement rooms. The bedrooms are furnished a bed, cupboard and desk. Bedclothes are included as well as towels. The doors to the bedrooms have ABUS locks with unique keys. There is high speed WLAN in the whole apartment, and a HD TV and an AppleTV in the shared living room. With the AppleTV, you can stream from Apple devices and access your Netflix and Amazon primes accounts as well as Youtube and other platforms. The kitchen contains a fridge, a dish washer, a microwave, an oven with a fume extraction hood, a cooking field, a coffee machine and is fully equipped with cutlery, plates, pots, scissors, can opener, etc. A vacuum cleaner is also included. In the bathroom there is a shared hair dryer. The apartment has an intercom system. In the basement, there are a washing machine and a dryer.
High speed internet flatrate as well as all utility costs (“Nebenkosten”) is all included in the 250€ lump sum cost. Electricity and gas will be around 130€; the exact calculation will be done for each calendar year so that you get money back if you used less electricity or gas.
The apartment is located in the 1st floor in Echeloh 66, 44149 Dortmund-Kley, only 200 meters away from the S-Bahn train station Dortmund-Kley from where the S1 takes you directly to Dortmund University or Dortmund main train station in only a few minutes. Besides, several bus lines (440, 470) stop at the bus stations "Echloh" and "Do-Kley S" which are only a few steps from the apartment. Within 10-15 minutes walking distance, you can find the "Indupark", an area with big supermarkets, IKEA, McDonald's and many other stores. The neighbourhood is nice and calm with many students, families and retired people.
The apartment is looking for its first tenants starting in September or October 2018. Due to the location near TU Dortmund University and the Technologie Park, it would be ideal for interational students, PhDs or Post-Docs. The rooms can also be booked individually (see my two individual other offers). If you have any questions, just contact me. I speak German, Englisch and (a little) French and would also be happy to rent the apartment to Germans and internationals who come to Dortmund and seek a cosy and nicely equipped place to stay. :-) Cancellation for the rental contract is only 1 month, so it is also interesting for short term residents.
