Next to the Black forest, yet only 2 km from the very centre of Freiburg. A beautiful fully furnished apartment in the quiet neighborhood of Zähringen. On the second floor of a private house, about 60 sq. meters and a large terrace with views onto the forest and morning sun.
Kitchen: fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, table and seating corner, fridge and freezer. Direct sunlight in the mornings.
Living room: large living room with parquet floor, leather sofa, big HD flat screen TV with Blue-ray DVD player and satellite TV, reliable W-LAN and local telephone included.
Bedroom: huge double-bed, desk, wardrobe and armchair -- super quiet, and comfortable.
Terrace: you can access it via the bedroom or the living room. Amazing view on the Black Forest (you can see Zähringer Burg!) and direct sunshine in the mornings. There is a table and some chairs for relaxing on sunny days.
Bathroom: shower AND bath, endless hot water, and all other necessities (incl. WC).
There is also a pleasant entrance to the flat where you can store your shoes and hang your coats.
Option 1: 7 minutes by foot to the S-Bahn stop "Freiburg-Zähringen" - from there 4 minutes to Hauptbahnhof
Option 2: Tram 2 from either Reutebachgasse (9 minutes) or Hornußstraße (12 minutes) - from there only about 10 minutes to Bertoldsbrunnen.
It's also a wonderful walk into the centre (about 30 minutes and 2 km) via Herdern.
Shopping:
- Edeka, DM, bakeries, pharmacies, etc.: next to the Reutebachgasse tram stop (9 minutes)
- Aldi/Lidl/Kaufland: 15 minutes by foot
- Bakery/butcher/small shop: next to S-Bahn (7 minutes)
Walking:
- The trails in the Black Forest are literally 200 meters from the flat. It's a little over 2 km to Zähringer Burg, 16 km to St. Peter., etc.
We are looking for a clean, courteous couple to sub-rent our flat, while we go visit family. If you are interested in a shorter period, let us know and we can see what we can arrange.
