I must leave my wonderful flat located near the city center, parks, and public transport and return to the US.
The bedroom side of the flat has amazing views of the city skyline. From the kitchen, you look over green areas and toward the parks.
The apartment is roughly 60sqm but there are eaves so that square footage isn't completely accurate. There is access to the attic for drying clothes. As well there is a small storage area. Additionally, bike racks to lock bikes are behind the building.
If you are approved by the landlord, it call all by yours by March 1st—including the furniture. Currently, the flat is set up as two bedrooms, kitchen and bath.
Priority goes to those who will take the furniture. (This property will go fast -- someone is already viewing it with the landlord but if you're interested let me know in case they aren't approved).
The flat is located near Kolonnadenstrasse and the Westplatz tram stops. The location is Zentrum West but it's very close to City Center (10 minute walk or less). In one direction (about 5 minutes away) is the popular neighborhood of Gottschedstrasse (with various restaurants, cafes, bars, and the Jewish memorial), in the other direction (also 5 minutes) and you're in Johannapark and Clara Zetkin. Schreberbad is also very close.
REWE, Aldi, Edeka, Konsum, Penny, and Norma are all close by for you to choose from.
