Würdest du im Juni gerne gratis in Wien wohnen? Ich, der Mieter (und Bewohner) der hier angezeigten Wohnung, verreise von Mittwoch, den 5. Juni, bis Sonntag, den 23. Juni 2024, und suche für diese 2 1/2 Wochen eine*n Pflanzensitter*In. Der Aufenthalt ist ausschließlich während genau dieser Zeitspanne möglich. Du solltest dich spätestens am 5. Juni um 14 Uhr für die Schlüsselübergabe einfinden, und die Wohnung auch am 5. Juni beziehen. Du solltest im Idealfall nicht früher, aber auf keinen Fall später, als am 23. Juni wieder abreisen. Du solltest über einen grünen Daumen verfügen. Die Anzahl der Gewächse ist überschaubar - es handelt sich nur um acht kleine Fensterbrett - Kisten (allerdings mit variierenden Ansprüchen).

Die Wohnung bietet Platz für eine pflanzenaffine Person. Sie ist eher bescheiden bemessen und funktional denn ein Design-Traum, und ihrem Aussehen nach eine deutlich erkennbar dauerbewohnte Single-Wohnung, aber sie bietet sämtliche Räume, Einrichtungsgegenstände und Annehmlichkeiten, die eins sich für den häuslichen Komfort wünschen kann: Ein Wohnzimmer mit Schreibtisch, Couch und einem Laufband, ein Schlafzimmer, eine Durchgangsküche samt Herd, Ofen und Mikrowelle, ein (kleines) Bad einschließlich Wanne sowie eine Waschmaschine, WiFi und natürlich die diversen bunten Blüten und sonstig grünende Gesellschaft (incl. potentiell pflückreife Erdbeeren & Physalis) :-)
Allein an Stauraum ist nicht megaviel vorhanden, aber für ein auf 2 1/2 Wochen ausgelegtes Reiseinventar sollte es reichen, bzw. können wir sicher eine zufrieden stellende Lösung finden. Die Wohnung befindet sich im 2. Stock eines Altbauhauses ohne Lift und ist somit leider nicht barrierefrei. Die Fenster des Apartments gehen seitlich auf den Ilgplatz.

Fancy a free 2 1/2-week apartment stay in Vienna in June? I’m the owner of the lease to (and occupant of) the flat on offer, and I’m looking for a friendly plant-sitter while I’m away from Wednesday, June 5th, to Sunday, June 23rd. The timeframe is limited exclusively to specifically these dates. This means you should take reception of the keys no later than June 5th at 14:00, and also take up lodgings on that date, while ideally you should not depart earlier, but by any means no later, than June 23rd. Preferential treatment for proven greenthumbs. The size of the task is not exactly Herculean, though - they’re only eight smallish boxes across the window sills, albeit containing species with diverse requirements.

The apartment can house one plant-happy person. It is modestly sized, won’t win any design awards anytime soon, and clearly has the appearance of a functional, lived-in space, but it’s perfectly adequate for what it is, an inner-city studio with two fully furnished rooms and all modern conveniences, including a living room with a desk, couch and a treadmill, a bedroom, a walk-through kitchenette complete with stove, oven and microwave, a (small) bath with a tub as well as a washing machine and WiFi, not to mention all the accompanying blooming greenery (with a chance of harvest-ready strawberries and physalis). There isn’t a ton of storage room, but it should be sufficient for a customary amount of 2 1/2 weeks’ worth of travel gear & utensils, or else I’m sure we can arrive at a suitable arrangement. The apartment is situated on the second floor of an early 20th century tenement building without an elevator, and as such unfortunately is not wheelchair-accessible. The windows of the property face out onto Ilgplatz.
