Bei uns wird im gegen Ende November ein Zimmer mit knapp 12 m² frei. Das Zimmer ein Fenster und eine Tür zum Gemeinschaftsbalkon auf der ruhigeren Südseite. Man blickt man in die Häusergasse bzw. auf den prächtigen Baum, der dort seine Krone entfaltet. Das Zimmer hat Laminatboden in Eiche, recht frisch gestrichen und ist unmöbliert. Insgesamt haben wir fünf bewohnte Zimmer, ein Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne, ein Toilete mit Wiesenhimmel und zwei überdachte Balkone auf der Sonnenseite. Das WG-Leben findet häufig in der zentral gelegenen Küche oder dem anschließendem Balkon statt. Der Hauptzugang zum Balkon findet nicht über 'dein' Zimmer, sondern vor allem durch das Küchenfenster statt. Unser Haus ist überwiegend von anderen netten WGs bewohnt und hat einen Fahrradkeller.

Towards the end of November, we have one room available: 12m². The sunny and bright room has a large window and door with access to one of the balconies. It has laminate flooring and is unfurnished. In total, our apartment has five rooms, a large bathroom with a bathtub, an extra toilet and two balconies on the sunny side of the house. The kitchen is central in the WG and next to the balcony the place to be for participation in our WG life. There are several friendly WGs in our house and the basement has a bike storage space.
Allerbeste Lage! Unsere WG liegt im Viertel (Vor dem Steintor) und viele Kneipen, Cafés und kleine Lädchen sowie die Innenstadt lassen sich gemütlich erschlendern. Diverse Supermärkte (Netto, Alnatura, Rewe) sind in Sichtweite. Außerdem ist man in 5 Minuten am Osterdeich an der Weser. Unsere Wohnung ist gegenüber der Schauburg mit der Haltestelle Brunnenstraße. Die Straßenbahnlinien 2, 3 und 10 halten also quasi direkt vor der Haustür und mit dem Rad ist man sowieso ganz schnell überall.

We are located in the middle of the 'Viertel' (Vor dem Steintor). Numerous cafés, bars and a diverse range of small shops are just along the street and also the city center is within walking distance. Various supermarkets (Netto, Alnatura, Rewe) are just around the corner. In five walking minutes you reach the Osterdeich at the Weser. The cinema Schauburg ist just around the corner and the tram station Brunnenstraße with lines 2, 3 and 10 is right outside the door. You can easily reach any place in town by bike as well.
Wir sind eine neue Konstellation, derzeit gibt es einige Veränderungen.
Eine unserer lieben Mitbewohnerin wird vorübergehend mit ihrem Freund, einem netten Paar, im größten Zimmer zusammenleben, aber sie werden irgendwann zusammen ausziehen, wenn sie eine Wohnung und eine Katze gefunden haben! (irgendwann Anfang bis Mitte nächsten Jahres).
Wenn du einziehst, kannst du auch das WG-Leben mitgestalten. Es gibt einige Leute, die sehr beschäftig sind, andere sind eher präsent, alles in allem sind wir keine Kuschel-WG, aber wir leben alle gerne in eine WG. Wir sind zwischen Ende 20 und Mitte 30, teils studieren, teils promovieren, teils arbeiten.
Schließlich hat jeder seinen eigenen Tages- und Wochenablauf, aber in der Küche oder auf dem Balkon kreuzen sich unsere Wege in der WG zum quatschen, abhängen und essen. Manche teilen sich gerne das Essen, manche essen auch gerne mal alleine. Manche sind sehr entspannt, wenn es um Sauberkeit geht, andere sind streng bei der Krümelkontrolle. Aber wir haben einen allgemeinen Putzplan, an den sich alle halten.
Die Wohnung gibt es schon seit langem als WG, einige Geräte sind alt, die Bäder sind renoviert und im Allgemeinen ist es gemütlich und einladend. Wir haben nicht alle von klein auf Deutsch gelernt und sprechen daher oft Englisch miteinander. Die Zimmer zur Straße hin können etwas laut sein, aber sie haben einen schönen Blick auf die Steintorstraße, die Zimmer zum Hof hin sind ruhiger.

We are a new constellation, currently there are some changes happening.
One of our dear flatmates will be living together temporarily with her boyfriend, who are a lovely and lively couple, in the biggest room but they will move out together at one point when they find a flat and a cat! (sometime early to mid next year), which means that there will be a new flatmate that you can select with us eventually.
When you move in you can shape the WG-life aswell. There are some people which are pretty busy, some are more present, all in all we are not a cuddle-WG, but we all like to live in a shared flat. We are between our late 20s and our mid-30s, partly studying, partly doing a doctorate, partly working.
Ultimately everyone has their own daily and weekly routine, but in the kitchen or on the balcony our paths cross for the shared flat to chat, hang out and eat, sometimes with a suitable drink.Some people like to share food, some people like to eat alone sometimes. Some are very relaxed about cleanliness and others are strict about breadcrumb control.
But we have a general cleaning schedule that everyone sticks to. The flat has being shared as a WG for a long time, some gadgets are old, yet the bathrooms are renovated and in general it is cozy and welcoming.
We didn't all learn German from an early age and therefore we often speak English with each other. The rooms can be a bit loud that are on the street, but they have a nice view to Steintor street, the rooms that are on the courtyard are more calm.
Internet und Telefon sind natürlich inklusive und wir beziehen Ökostrom.
