Das dauert abhängig davon wo man hin will ca. 1h.

Mauer is a neighborhood with a village-like center in the Liesing district. Our house is located exactly between the forest and vineyards and the Maurer main square, both about a 10-minute walk away.
There are plenty of shopping options: Billa, Spar, Denn’s, and the Riverside shopping center in Liesing are all reachable within a few minutes.

Getting to the city center:
With the 60 tram, you can reach Westbahnhof in about 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can cycle (or take bus 60A) to Liesing or Atzgersdorf in about 10 minutes and then take the S-Bahn into the city. Depending on where you want to go, this takes approximately one hour.

We are currently a household of three, with another housemate joining us for a shorter period over the coming months.
When it comes to living together, open, non-violent communication and the willingness to invest energy in our community are important to us. We meet regularly (about every 4–8 weeks) for a plenary meeting and have also begun exploring which values we want to place at the centre of our life together as a community.
Since cleanliness and order are among these values, we have rotating tasks on a cleaning schedule.

From time to time, we also organise things together - we go hiking, visit a theatre or a concert, or watch a movie on our projector.
Living with us is a fairly independent, not particularly cuddly cat named Jägermeisterin. She has lived in the house the longest.
We all work, although some of us have very variable schedules.

About us:

Tomi, 38 – Works in the social sector and has begun training to become a psychotherapist. He likes plants and the forest, goes fishing, juggles and boulders. Every now and then he also goes out partying... and then all night long!

Doris, 45 – Loves art, culture, nature, and much more. She is a graphic designer, studied German literature, and works intensively with plant-based dyes. She is self-employed and combines several professional fields.

Simeon, 51 – Trainer and educator in the youth sector. He feels at home in nature, especially in the mountains, and is interested in human development and sustainability. Simeon appreciates communal living, sharing resources, and spontaneous adventures. He boulders and does martial arts.

We’re looking for a nice, cheerful new housemate starting from 15th of November—someone who is happy to make time for a house meeting now and then, and who is around or over 25 years old.

Since it isn’t always easy to get all three of us together for an initial meeting, we’d first like to have a phone call with you and then invite you over. We are looking forward to hearing from you—ideally with a little introduction telling us who you are!
