Hi all,
I'm leaving Aachen so I'm on the lookout for a new tenant for my apartment.
Speaking of: it's a Studio apartment, located on Weidenweg (very near KaWo student dorms if you're familiar with them). It is 27 square meters and includes a terrace, kitchenette and a small bathroom and shower. It also includes a small storage room in the apartment, and a bigger storage section in the basement (Check the photos: each apartment gets a private "wooden-cage" in the basement).
There's also a laundry room in the basement with two washing machines and a dryer that you can use (Check the photos)
The total rent includes: base rent, water, heating and building costs (cleaning, taxes, etc.). It doesn't include electricity and internet: you have to get your own contract for those two. Also keep in mind that the landlord might increase the rent a bit for a new tenant.
The apartment is placed perfectly if you need to commute to Campus Melaten, Informatik buildings, or Uniklinikum: you can easily reach there by bike in a few minutes. Or if you prefer to take the public transport, in a minute walking distance, you'll get to Kastanienweg bus stop (in Seffenter Weg), reaching bus lines of 33, 73, 3A/B, 12, 22, 23, ... .
If you have your own car, you don't need a park permit to park in Weidenweg, and you can usually find empty spaces for parking. With car, in less than a minute you'll reach Pariser Ring, and in few minutes A4 (So you can always bypass traffie-prone spots in Aachen).
The apartment is not furnished and all the furniture you see in the pictures are mine (except the kitchenette, which is for the landlord). I'd prefer to sell at least some of them to the next tenant since it'll make my move way easier. So I'd prefer if you didn't have your own furniture so we could negotiate on a price for those.(It's just a preference though, not a deal-breaker, don't worry about it too much and write me anyways if you don't want to buy my furniture).
About contacting me: I'd prefer if you could send me messages (via WG-gesucht or whatsapp or simply Text/SMS) rather than calling; my life is in shambles right now so this way it'd be way easier to manages things. I try my best to answer all the messages I get.

One last word: the decision maker is the landlord and I just find the potential tenants. I know how nightmarish it is to find a place in Aachen, and I sincerely hope each and every single one of you that are reading this ad find your ideal place as soon as possible.
