My name is José Luis Moreira Arruda. I am 22 years-old and I'm Brazilian. I am an undergraduate student, coursing the fourth year of Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering at Aeronautics Institute of Technology in São José dos Campos, Brazil. I have a lot of interest in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Process areas. I am currently doing research in this area at Competence Center in Manufacturing.

I was born in Fortaleza, but I have lived in São José dos Campos since I started the college. Since this time, I have lived with friends and colleagues in a College Student housing, like a big “Stundentenwohnreim”. I believe that I also learned important lessons such as the importance of respecting one another, organization and cleanliness, keeping a low noise level and participating and contributing to improve the place where I live.

I like to play soccer and handball. I also like to see movies, TV series about several kinds and I like read books too. I also like to spend my time talking with people I love, such as my family, my girlfriend and my friends.

I like to learn and have new experiences and I am very excited to live, at least one year, in Aachen. I am sure that in Deutschland I will have many new experiences and I will learn a lot about the fascinating “Deutsch” (German) culture. Another knowledge I’m seeking to improve is the Deutsch language. I believe that living at a WG is a great way to interact more and, therefore, learn more. Besides it, I want to make good friends and colleagues in Deutschland and live a great time in Deutsch, learning a lot professionally as well as personally.
