We are trying to sublet/find someone to take over my rental contract that is starting in April.
The room is in a student residence, it have a bed a small kitchenette and a bathroom. The deposit has already been paid, if you move in you can either pay the deposit or not, up to you.
It has most features that student housing does, including a lobby that’s quite welcoming, shared washer/dryers, etc
It is located in Mitte, near the U Bernauer Stra. a couple minutes walk from Mauerpark and really close to cafés. It is quite central and well connected public transport wise !!
Mitte is a really central area of Berlin so there are shops and markets at your disposal and really close.
This will either be a sublet or a transfer of contract, in the case that it is sublet you can not register yourself (anmeldung), but if the contract is transferred than no problem.
As this is still up for debate with the housing company, I will keep you updated on any changes that may happen.
