Wedding is a multicultural district encompassing several residential areas and parks. Huge Volkspark Rehberge and smaller Schillerpark attract picnicking families and runners. In the southwest, tiny Plötzensee lake offers a sandy beach for swimming against the backdrop of 19th-century Plötzensee Prison, now a memorial. Students and families fill cafes and casual restaurants in the lively Brüsseler Kiez area.
Along with Kreuzberg, Wedding is one of the most ethnically diverse localities of Berlin. The multicultural atmosphere is visible in the bilingual shop signs. Wedding has a fairly high level of quality of life. As a result, many new Bohemian cafés, restaurants and clubs, organic food stores and markets have been established, an art-house cinema and an urban gardening project has successfully started and high-brow galleries have discovered that area.It is still said though to be a place to find the Schnauze mit Herz (big mouth and big heart) of the Berlin working class.
Please note: The offer is 650euros/month for the apartment, all other bills will need to be paid by the tenant. e.g. electricity, phone, internet etc In addition the new tenant will be required to purchase insurance to cover any problems due to the fault of the tenant e.g. flooding. this can usually be found at an annual cost of 40euros
