Erstmal ist die Wohnung in SCHLESWIG und NICHT in Flensburg. Es handelt sich um eine 1-Zimmer-Wohnung+Küche, Flur und Bad. Dieses ist von meiner Vormieterin neu gemacht worden. Die Räume sind meiner Meinung nach soweit gut geschnitten, ich hatte nie wirklich Probleme, meine Möbel hier gut hinzustellen. Das Zimmer und die Küche sind etwa quadratisch geschnitten, der Flur ist länglich und hat zur Küche hin eine Einlassung, die mit einem Vorhang abgetrennt ist. Die Küche ist durch einen Fadenvorhang vom Flur getrennt.
Außerdem gehören zu der Wohnung ein Kellerraum und ein Dachbodenraum.
Die Wohnung liegt nach hinten raus, sodass man vom Fenster aus auf eine schöne Grünfläche blickt und vom Verkehr eher wenig mitbekommt. Auch die nahe gelegene Autobahn hört man eher selten.
Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Mehrfamilienhaus. Im Haus gibt es 6 weitere Wohnungen, von denen 5 mindestens 3 Zimmer haben und eine 1. Die Nachbarn sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

First of all the appartment is in SCHLESWIG and NOT in Flensburg. It consists of 1 room, a floor, a kitchen, and a bathroom, which has been build by the previous tenant. I think that the rooms are well laid out, I never had any trouble arranging my furnitures. The room and the kitchen are laid out almost squarish, the floor is longish and towards the kitchen it has a little extra spot which is good for shelves or things like that as the wall is on three sides of it. In front of this extra spot there is a curtain. The kitchen and the floor are separated by a string curtain.
Furthermore there are an attic room and a basement room belonging to the flat.
The flat is looking out into the backyard so that, if one looks out of the window, one can see a nice green area. Furthermore one does here too much of the traffic passing the house. Even the nearby highway can rarely be heard.
The flat is in a multi-family-house. Within the house there are 6 more flats, 5 of them having at least 3 rooms and one of them consisting of 1 room as well. The neighbours are all nice and helpful.

Die Wohnung befindet sich im Schleswiger Stadtteil Friedrichsberg. In zwei Minuten Fußweg befindet sich die nächste Bushaltestelle und auch der Schleswiger Bahnhof ist bloß 5 bis 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, ebenso wie einige Supermärkte (Sky, Aldi, Edeka) und einige kleine Geschäfte. Auch die Sparkasse und ein Geldautomat der HypoVereinsbank sind unweit und im Edeka befindet sich eine Postfiliale.
Ins Zentrum von Schleswig sind es circa 2,5 Kilometer, das Schloss Gottorf und die Schlei liegen circa 1 Kilometer entfernt. Unweit vom Schloss befindet sich außerdem eine Art Mischung aus Wald und Parkanlage, wo es besonders bei Sonnenschein auch sehr schön ist.

The flat is in the quarter of Friedrichsberg. The next busstop is within about 2 minutes walking distance. Also the train station is only an about 5 to 10 minutes walk away, just like some grocery stores und some little stores. Also the "Sparkasse" is nearby and there is a post office in one of the grocery stores.
The town centre of Schleswig is about 2.5 kilometres away and the Gottorf Castle and the river Schlei are about 1 kilometre away. Near the castle is kind of a mixture of forest and park which is also pretty nice, especially in summer.

Ich würde gerne einige Sachen in der Wohnung lassen, wie zum Beispiel die Schränke in Küche und Badezimmer. Hierfür würde ich gerne einen Abschlag (Verhandlungssache) haben wollen.
Bei den Mietkosten bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher, da diese nicht über mich laufen. Insgesamt sollten die Mietkosten jedoch, abgesehen von Telefon und Internet, zwischen 250 und 300€ liegen. Für eine Festnetz- und Internet-Flatrate habe ich immer knapp 30€ bezahlt. Diese habe ich jedoch aus vertraglichen Gründen (der Vertrag lies sich nur immer für ein ganzes Jahr verlängern) schon im Dezember gekündigt.
Als ich hier eingezogen bin, war diese Wohnung für Schleswiger Verhältnisse recht günstig.

I would like to leave some things in the flat, like the cupboards in the kitchen and the bathroom. I would like to have an anticitpated payment for that.
I am not exactly sure about the rental charges because it is not me who is paying them. But all in all they shouldn't be between 250€ and 300€, except for the costs for telephone and internet. And I always paid a little less than 30€ for a flatrate for fixed line network and internet. But due to contractual reasons I already discharged this flatrate in December ... otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get out of the contract till December 2013.
When I moved in, this flat was pretty cheap for the conditions here in Schleswig.
