Ich habe bei Neon Wood einen Vertrag bis zum 31.01.2024, muss aber im Dezember kurzfristig abreisen. Daher bemühe ich mich um eine Vertragsübergabe für den Monat Januar und suche hierfür eine geeignete Person. Der Vertrag sieht vor, dass die Mietsache eine Woche vor Ende des Mietverhältnisses, also am 24.01.2024, an den Vermieter zurückgegeben wird. Der Vermieter hat die Miete auf der Grundlage einer um eine Woche verkürzten effektiven Laufzeit berechnet, so dass diese Regelung keinen wirtschaftlichen Nachteil für den Mieter darstellt.

I have a contract at Neon Wood until the 31.01.2024, but I have to leave on a short notice in December. Therefore, I am trying for a transfer of contract for the month of January and am looking for a suitable person for this. The contract requires that the rental place be returned to the landlord one week before the the end of the lease, therefore on 24/01/2024. The landlord has calculated the rent on the basis of an effective term shortened by one week, so that this provision does not constitute an economic disadvantage for the tenant.
