The flat is located in a very quiet street in the center of Handschuhsheim. It is 1 minute away from the Biethsstrasse tram stop, with excellent public connections to downtown Heidelberg (trams 23 or 5: every 5 minutes during daytime, 9 minutes to Bismarckplatz) and to the University in Neuenheimer Feld (tram 24: every 10 minutes, 6 minutes to Neunheimer Feld). Easy to access by car and by bike (a biking lane goes all along Dossenheimer Landtrasse; bike storage spaces are provided in the courtyard and in the basement).

Supermarkets are very close by (Rewe and Aldi: 10 minutes away by foot in Im Weiher), and the immediately neighbouring Dossenheimer Landstrasse (1 minute away) contains all the facilities you might want: banks (including Sparkasse and Kommerzbank), hairdressers, medical doctors, small shops (bakeries), gas station. If you prefer farmer markets, the Handschusheim market (every Saturday morning in the Tiefburg, 5 minutes away) is for you.

The flat is light and bright, with one large window in each room (main room, bathroom and kitchen). The flat is very quiet and silent (despite being centrally located in Handschuhsheim), as Biethstrasse is a small street and the windows give on the inner courtyard and not on the street itself. Thermal insulation is very good: even during a very hot summer, the flat will stay nicely cool (even if external temperatures reach 40°C, the flat will not go above 25-30°C - because the inner courtyard provides shadow, and because the floor is a bit (about 1 meter) below ground level). The central heating is excellent to go through winter.
