Da ich ein Semester ins Ausland gehen werde, möchte ich mein möbiliertes 7 m² großes WG Zimmer zwischenvermieten. Kurz erst einmal allgemein zur WG Raumaufteilung:
Die WG ist auf gut 125m² auf drei Stockwerke aufgeteilt. Das WG Zimmer befindet sich im untersten der drei Stockwerke. Neben dem WG Zimmer befindet sich ein kleines Badezimmer mit Dusche, welches Du dir mit einem/r weiteren Mitbewohner/in teilst. Im zweiten Stockwerk der WG befinden sich Gemeinschaftsräume. Neben der Küche und einem weiteren Badezimmer (mit Dusche und Badewanne) befindet sich dort auch ein 20m² großes Wohnzimmer mit großer Schlafcouch und Esstisch, Beamer und E-Piano. Im dritten Stock liegen nochmal zwei Zimmer, wo zwei der anderen Mitbewohner wohnen.
Das Zimmer selbst hat einen hochwertigen vollmassiv Schreibtisch, ein 120x200cm großes Holzbett und praktischen Aufbewahrungsboxen, welche sich unter dem Bett befinden und damit perfekt zum Verstauen von Bettzeug etc. sind. Ebenfalls hervorzuheben ist das Fenster, welches sich Doppelflügig öffnen lässt. An der Wand befinden sich Regalböden, ebenfalls wird in Kürze ein schmaler kleiner Schrank in das Zimmer gestellt. Damit man das Zimmer abdunkeln kann, hängt am Fenster ein hochwertiger Vorhang. In Kürze montieren ich noch einen Beamer, sodass sich ein kleines Heimkinosetup im Zimmer befindet.
Im Flur vor dem Zimmer stehen zwei große Regale und eine große Garderobe, welche Du dir mit zwei weiteren Mitbewohnern teilst.

As I will be going abroad for a semester, I want to sublet my furnished 7 m² shared apartment room. First, let's talk about the general layout of the shared apartment (WG):
The WG is spread over three floors, covering a total of around 125m². The room available for sublet is situated on the lowest floor. Next to the room, there's a small bathroom with a shower, which you'll share with another roommate. The second floor of the WG comprises common areas. Along with the kitchen and another bathroom (with a shower and bathtub), you'll find a spacious 20m² living room equipped with a large sofa bed, dining table, projector, and electric piano. The third floor has two more rooms where two other roommates reside.
The room itself features a high-quality solid wood desk, a 120x200cm wooden bed, and practical storage boxes that fit perfectly under the bed for storing bedding and more. The window is worth mentioning as it can be opened in two parts. There are shelves on the wall, and a slim small cabinet will be added to the room soon. To darken the room, there's a high-quality curtain hanging at the window. I will also be installing a projector soon, so the room will have a small home cinema setup.
In the hallway outside the room, there are two large shelves and a big coat rack that you'll share with two other roommates.
Die WG liegt in einem Reihenhaus inmitten der Heidelberger Altstadt. Wer schon einmal in Heidelberg war, weiß, dass die Altstadt oftmals voll und laut sein kann. Demnach ist die Lage der WG ideal: Zwar liegt sie in der Fußgängerzone, jedoch befinden sich keine Geschäfte oder Cafés in der Straße, sodass keine Touristen in der Gasse verweilen.
Direkt im Nachbargebäude geht es in die Tiefgarage, sodass immer eine Parkmöglichkeit existiert. Wenn man in der Gasse in die eine Richtung läuft, ist man in weniger als einer Minute am Neckar und an einer Bushaltestelle. Wenn man in die andere Richtung läuft, ist man innerhalb einer Minute inmitten der Fußgängerzone. Unsere Nachbarn sind alle sehr nett, gegenüber von uns ist die Psychologische Fakultät. Die restlichen Universitätsgebäude sind binnen 5-10 Min zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß keine fünf Minuten entfernt, alsbald eröffnet auch am Eck der Brunnengasse zu der Einkaufsstraße (ca 100m entfernt) ein weiterer Supermarkt.
Das Fahrrad kann sicher im Innenhof des Gebäudes abgestellt werden.

The shared apartment (WG) is located in a townhouse in the heart of Heidelberg's old town. Anyone who has been to Heidelberg knows that the old town can often be crowded and noisy. Therefore, the location of the WG is ideal: While it is situated in the pedestrian zone, there are no shops or cafes on the street, so there are no tourists lingering in the alley.
Right next to the neighboring building, there is access to the underground parking garage, ensuring that there is always a parking option available. If you walk in one direction down the alley, you'll reach the Neckar river and a bus stop in less than a minute. If you walk in the other direction, you'll find yourself in the middle of the pedestrian zone within a minute. Our neighbors are all very friendly, and the Psychology Faculty is located across from us. The other university buildings are within a 5-10 minute walk.
Shopping facilities are less than a five-minute walk away, and soon another supermarket will open at the corner of Brunnengasse, about 100 meters away, on the shopping street.
You can securely park your bicycle in the courtyard of the building.
Neben Dir wohnen noch vier weitere Mitbewohner/innen in der WG. Zwei Mitbewohnerinnen studieren an der Universität Heidelberg im dritten Semester und der weitere Mitbewohner ist berufstätig und demnach selten Zuhause. De facto ist die WG damit eine vierer WG. In das fünfte Zimmer zieht ein/e Erasmusstudent/in ein.
Vorab: Wir wollen keine Zweck-WG sein!
Als WG lieben wir es zusammen Spieleabende zu machen, eine Serie zu schauen oder gemeinsam in die zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten entfernte beste Mensa (Marstall) zu gehen. Hast Du Ideen, was du gerne als WG unternehmen würdest? Schreib es gern mit in deine Nachricht. Außerdem - Was ist dein Lieblingsessen, was Du womöglich mal für die WG kochen möchtest?
Speaking of Küche: In der Küche steht ein Traum jeder WG: eine Spülmaschine! Ebenfalls für Backinteressierte eine KitchenAid. Der Backofen/Herd ist keine zwei Jahre alt. Außerdem haben wir fest vor alsbald einen neuen Kühlschrank zu kaufen. Neben der Spülmaschine ist auch ein Trockner (keine zwei Jahre alt) und eine Waschmaschine in der Wohnung.

Besides you there are four other roommates living in the shared apartment (WG). Two female roommates are in their third semester at the University of Heidelberg, and another roommate is employed and, therefore, rarely at home. In reality, the WG is a four-person flatshare. The fifth room will be occupied by an Erasmus student.
First and foremost, we don't want to be just a functional WG! As a WG, we love to have game nights, watch series together, or go to the best canteen (Marstall) just a 5-minute walk away. Do you have any ideas for activities you'd like to do with the WG? Feel free to include them in your message. Also, what's your favorite food that you might want to cook for the WG?
Speaking of the kitchen: The kitchen is a dream for any WG! We have a dishwasher and a KitchenAid for baking enthusiasts. The oven/stove is less than two years old. Additionally, we plan to buy a new refrigerator soon. Apart from the dishwasher, there's also a dryer (less than two years old) and a washing machine in the apartment.
