Die Wohnung liegt mitten in Berlin-Friedrichshain, einem der beliebtesten, lebendigsten und zentralsten Stadtteile Berlins. Praktisch vor der Tür finden sich zahlreiche Bars, Cafés und Restaurants. Dennoch ist die Straße ruhig und spätestens bei geschlossenem Fenster bekommt man von dem Trubel nichts mehr mit. Auch die Verkehrsanbindung ist hervorragend, so dass man fast alle wichtigen Orte in Berlin Mitte innerhalb von ca. 30 Minuten erreichen kann.


The flat is located in the middle of Berlin-Friedrichshain, one of the most popular, vivid and central parts of Berlin. In the immediate neighborhood, you will find numerous cafés, bars and restaurants. Nonetheless, the street is relatively calm and as soon as you close the windows, the apartment can become a very quiet place.
Traffic connections are, of course, impeccable. You will reach every important location in the centre of Berlin in approximately 30 minutes.

Mein Name ist Thomas und ich bin 32 Jahre alt. Ich studiere Französisch und Theaterwissenschaften an der FU Berlin, womit mein Hauptinteressengebiet auch schon beschrieben wäre, das kulturelle Leben Berlins in seiner ganzen Vielfalt. Ich muss aber nicht ständig irgendwelche hochkulturellen, hochintellektuellen Gespräche führen, sondern mache Sport, treffe mich mit Freunden auf einen Kaffee oder ein Glas Wein und unterhalte mich über Gott und die Welt.

Mein Studium und mein Nebenjob als Hilfskraft in der Gastronomie verlangen von mir, dass ich einen geregelten Tagesablauf habe. Das sollte bei Euch ähnlich sein.

Es ist keine Party-WG, aus dem Alter bin ich raus. In kleinerem Rahmen sind Gäste natürlich regelmäßig willkommen.

Natürlich ist es schön, wenn sich zwischen uns ein persönlicher Kontakt ergibt und wir auch freundschaftlich Zeit zusammen verbringen können. Das ist für mich aber keine zwingende Voraussetzung. Auch eine reine Zweck-WG wäre für mich in Ordnung.

Wichtig sind mir noch Ordnung und Sauberkeit, ohne dass ich da pedantisch wäre und wir zwingend einen Putzplan bräuchten, aber ich möchte, dass die Wohnung in einem gepflegten Zustand erhalten bleibt.


My name is Thomas and I'm 32 years old. I'm studying french and drama studies at the free university of Berlin, which relates also to my main field of interest, the highly colourful cultural life of Berlin. At the same time, I'm not constantly in the need for highly intellectual conversations. I'm living a very normal life, I like to do sports, meet with friends talking about every silly subject that you can possibly imagine.

My studies and my part-time job in the field of gastronomy and hotels require that I have regular lifestyle. Regarding this aspect, you should be in a comparable situation.

The flat won't be a permanent party location. Friends and family are, of course, always welcome.

An important thing for me is that the flat is kept in a tidy and clean state - without being extreme, but we both should feel comfortable in shared areas.

Wichtig ist noch, dass ich von Euch natürlich die üblichen Unterlagen brauche, d.h. Schufa (solicitar ahora) -Auskunft, Mietschuldenfreiheitsbescheinigung, Gehaltsnachweise oder, wenn Ihr über kein eigenes Einkommen verfügt, eine Bürgschaftserklärung und entsprechende Nachweise von Eurem Bürgen. Der Bürge muss natürlich keine Mietschuldenfreiheitsbescheinigung vorlegen.

One last and one of the most important things: I need the standard documents for a lease contract from you which are Schufa (solicitar ahora) , a proof that you have no outstanding liabilities from former rental contracts and a documentation of your income. If you don't have any own income, I would need these documents from the person providing you with financial means and a guaranty from that person.
