Large, bright and sunny room with a south-facing balcony in an altbau flat in Neukolln. The room has a comfortable double bed, sofa, coffee table, chairs and plenty of storage for clothes. There is also a projector and perfect white wall for home cinema-style movie / sports / tv watching. The rest of the apartment also has wooden floorboards and high ceilings, decorated with practical and vintage wooden furniture. The room is about 35 sqm, but the common space is bigger and free for you to use. There is a high-end sound system with turntables, etc. in the shared open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room, which is fully equipped for cooking. There are 2 bathrooms in the flat, one with a bathtub.
About the area: Just south of Schiller Kiez, this part of Neukolln is full of wonderful bars and cafes on the side streets, with some excellent restaurants ranging from fine dining to great street food. It is well served by public transport (U8 and S Bahn), supermarkets, etc. It is also remarkably green - Tempelhofer Feld is a few minutes' walk away, and our street is surrounded on both sides by green spaces, making it quiet and peaceful at night.
The apartment is shared with one other (very chill) person, whose bedroom at the other end of the flat has its own half-bathroom.
Were looking for a nice person or couple who treats our flat and our things well.
There is linen and towels for your use, and everything that a flat needs, especially in the kitchen.
We are a couple who will be out of the country for a month and a half. This sublet is a perfect temporary base in Berlin while you find a more permanent home. It is available by the week (250 Euros per week or 1000 per month), but sub-let enquiries of 4 weeks or more will be prioritized. Couples are very welcome.
