Welcome to your half room in Jena!
Actually, you get an entire room, not "half", it is however tiny and verycozy! :) (5 square meters). The room is small, it is however perfect if you are moving to Jena and need a place to stay for 1-2 months while you search for a definitive apartment. For this reason, conditions are very flexible: no deposit (kaution) and you can leave the room anytime if you let me know ~2 weeks in advance. In any case, longer stays are also possible.
Although small it will do exceptionally well for getting some privacy. You hav full access to the apartment (70sqm) and can make full use of it. We have a fully equipped kitchen, balcony with beautiful views, a working area to sit with your laptop with an overlook over the neighborhood, a small gym and a nice sofa with 60" TV.
The room is furnished, it has a bed of 200x90cm but lacks some wardrobe space at the moment. I can also provide 2 sets of bed sheets and towels if needed.
This room used to be an AirBnB listing and got always 5 stars reviews!
The apartment is located just at the Zeiss-Werk bus stop. Most of the main bus routes of Jena stop at our place! (Lines 10,11,12 and 13). It is very close to Zeiss main facilities, Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule and the Beutenberg Campus. The city center can be reached in 20 minutes by walking or 8 minutes by bus.
You will be sharing apartment with the current tenant (that's me! Male, 29 y.o, PhD Student). My German is very limited, so it will be helpful if you can speak English (though not totally necessary).
We have a basement for your bicycle or anything bulky you need to store.
