American Student for Fall Semester (Sep-Dec)

Hey there! My name is Aran, I'm a 24-year-old, fun loving and sociable American who is participating in the NOHA Masters program at RUB this fall. I do enjoy communal living, and spending time with flat mates. Shared meals are something that I especially enjoy about communal living, and I always enjoy entertaining guests. Some of my hobbies include running, spending time in the outdoors (camping, hiking), history (everything to do with it), and light social drinking (although I'm always down to go out, should my studies allow 😉).
I always enjoy a clean apartment and live a lifestyle of essentially cleaning as I go, or as I do things. Since I'm traveling in suitcase, I won't have much to make a mess with anywhere. I do enjoy all sorts of music, and if my flat mates are permitting, I'll play it as load as my tiny Bluetooth speaker will allow. I am a native English speaker, and know basic Arabic, I'm also obsessively studying German on Duolingo right now, so we'll see how that goes.
I have plenty of experience living communally, among and with people from many cultures and nationalities. Travel is definitely a major part of my experience, but this is getting too long, so just ask me about it. I'm looking for a place only this fall, as with my program I will be changing universities in the spring. I arrive in Germany on September 1st.
