The room is 14m2 in a 98m2 apartment and quite bright :)
Optionally included are a bed (160x200), mattress, desk, bedside table. These can be put into storage if you already have furniture though, that's not a problem!
In the large living room, there's a dining table, TV, PS4, Sofa bed, a snug for reading in and from here is access to the balcony which is also pretty big and gets sun for a good portion of the day.
The kitchen is fully equipped (incl dishwasher) and has an adjacent pantry. I'm a big foodie so I would be glad to cook together sometime!
There are 2 bathrooms, one with bath and shower, toilet and sink, the other with just a toilet and sink.
The location is on the border of Prenzlauerberg and Mitte. There are supermarkets all around (one directly below the apartment), loads of great restaurants and bars (for the better times) are nearby too, happy to share recommendations with you!!
For transport, there is U2, U8, M1, M8, and 12 all within 5-10 mins walk. 15 minutes walk also takes you to Alexanderplatz or Hackesher markt too. Most places in the city can be reached in 25-35 minutes by public transport. It's also a great location for cycling around the city too!
The only flatmate would be me, Joe. I'm 27, British and I've been living here for 3 years now :)
I'm looking for someone to move in who would really treat the place as their home too and might want to hang out with friends that come over or share a meal / drink sometime.
I spend a lot of time cooking, listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks etc. I'm also a keen cyclist and most weekends I'll be heading out to one of the lakes when the weather is better.
By academic background I'm a scientist, and now work with medical AI. So if you're also interested in sciency things then we'll have plenty to talk about! :)
We can arrange a viewing either in person or by video chat if you would prefer that for safety reasons (but I'm happy to wear a mask if you come in person).
Can also provide a breakdown of the rent etc to show everything is transparent in how we split costs :)
