Hey!
We're looking for a new flatmate since I'll be moving out in September. We are Caglar (22), Nick (34) and Casper (28) - that's me. But more about us in the section "WG Leben".
The room has the perfect size for a student. It's 16 sqm, has a large bed and a large wardrobe and plenty of storage space with the shelves. The apartment has a nice kitchen (with a washing machine), a bathroom with a bathtub, which we usually use as a shower, a neat hall and a little living room with a balcony. The bigger oven has unfortunately not been working even before I moved in (but the cooktop is working of course). We usually use the portable oven for everything we have (pizza, German 'Brötchen', croissants).
The apartment is located in 'Bahnhofsvorstadt'. As the name already tells, it's really close to the Hauptbahnhof (7 mins walk, or 1 min walk and then with a tram to the next stop Hauptbahnhof). In Bremen, almost all trams and buses stop at the Hauptbahnhof. So you can easily go to Universität Bremen, Hochschule Bremen or take a train to Jacobs University.
We're an international WG. Nick is from Colombia, Caglar is from Greece/ Turkey, and i am from Denmark, but even though we are a very international WG Germans are still more than welcome to move in too. Prior to me moving in the WG have housed a plethora of nationalities including German, Korean and Italian, so we are very excited to see which nationality will move in next. The language of the WG is English but both Caglar and Nick speak excellent German.
The rent for the room is 307€ and the deposit is 410€. For your monthly payment, electricity (45€) and internet bills (17€) have to be added. For the furniture in the room and for the common furniture (incl. washing machine, fridge, ...) I ask for 550€. The amount is thoroughly calculated and includes already large reductions.
If you're thinking about moving in or if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
My flatmates are looking forward to meeting their new roomie :)
