The room is on the top floor so it is always bright in the room and the window on the pitched roof can be opened very wide. Being a one-way street there isn't much traffic noise. All the important furniture like bed, desk, cupboard, shelves, carpets, chairs is present in the room.
The house is located on a quiet street and is about 5 minutes from the center of Aachen. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the main university building and Super C or about 8 minutes by bus. There is also a bus stop in the immediate vicinity (Kaiserplatz bus-stop), from which there is a connection to the main station (5 mins), Campus Melaten (15 mins) and many others. There are numerous shops (REWE, Kaiser, Penny, Netto, Norma, etc.) and many eateries.
Your new roommate will be Abin (30). He did his master's degree in mechatronics and now works as a Freelancer. He speaks in English, German and is very nice and friendly. Privacy is highly valued.
Since the room is on the top floor, you can also relax in the stairwell, as only you get up to the top floor.
In the kitchen, you will find everything you need for cooking (dishes, gas oven, etc.) and also enough storage space.
For the shared rooms (kitchen and toilet), attention is paid to cleanliness and it is simply agreed between you who does what.
A bicycle cellar is also available in the building. Everything to do with garbage disposal and stairwell hygiene is organized by the landlord. 140 euros for the furniture(Negotiable)
