The apartment is a beautiful altbau with high ceiliings and lots of light. The room itself is about 15m^2 (2.5x6). Rent is 400 for the month, and I'm asking for a 200 euro deposit. I'm moving so my things will be gone, but the furniture is staying (the bed will be swapped out with a different one that is 1.4m wide). There is direct sunlight through the (south facing) window in the morning and the room stays bright all day.
Anything else you want to know, just ask. 😊
The apartment is well connected to transit. It's a 10 min walk to Baumschulenweg S-Bahn station (S9 goes east-west right through the center of the city, S46 connects to the ring, and S8/85 go north to Pankow) and 4 min walk to the first/last M41 stop (so you can fall asleep on the bus and never miss your stop 😁).
There's an Edeka 5 mins away that's open 7am-midnight every day (except Sunday). Great Döner place just down the street, with a vegan seitan option that I've been told is good. It's a quiet area, but there are a few nice restaurants close by (Italian and Vietnamese).
I live with two super great guys. They're both into bouldering (please mention this in your message). One is from Canada (speaks English and French), the other is German (speaks German and English). It's a clean and tidy place.
The rent is 400 all inclusive and I'm asking a 200 deposit. I've written the post in English because one of my roommates does not speak German.
