I live in a spacious two-bedroom Altbau apartment in Friedrichshain, near Boxhagener Platz. It is a lovely neighborhood with many restaurants, bars, gyms, clubs, fleemarkets on the weekends and two parks (Volkspark Friedrichshain and Treptower Park) that can be reached within less than 10 minutes by bike. The apartment is located close to U5 as well as the S-Bahn at Ostkreuz. Since living here, I have fallen in love with this neighborhood and so will you! It is a lovely place to be.
The apartment has about 80 sqms, your room has about 21 sqms. The bathroom and kitchen are shared and fully equipped. I have some additional furniture in the basement if needed, so anything but the bed could be provided.
I am a sociable female in her 30s who is currently working on her PhD in peace and conflict studies. I travel for work often and in general like to keep busy. I am a native German speaker, but also speak English and Spanish fluently, after having lived abroad for 12 years. I am starting to learn Russian for work, in case that is of interest.
All ages and backgrounds are welcome, but please give me an idea of what you are about. I will respond to those who write me a little paragraph about themselves: age, background, profession or current job/ studies/ apprenticeship, hobbies/ likes, party person/ not a party person and whatever else you might deem interesting.
