**ENGLISH BELOW**
Wegen eines DAAD-Stipendiums im Ausland suche ich eine:n Untermieter:in für ein möbliertes Schlafzimmer (12 qm) mit großem Balkon in unserer geräumigen WG (116 qm total). Die Wohnung besteht aus zwei Einzelwohnungen, die zusammengeschlossen wurden. In einem Teil der Wohnung wohnt der Mitbewohner Oliver, 34 Jahre alt, Künstler und Informatiker. In diesem Teil der Wohnung gibt es ein Gäste-WC, ein Gäste-Waschbecken und die Küche. Im anderen Teil der Wohnung wohnen normalerweise ich und die beiden Kater Mashou und Loki. Es wäre schön, wenn du Spaß daran hast, dich um die Katzen zu kümmern, während du in der Wohnung bist.
Da man zwischen den beiden Teilen der Wohnung einige Türen schließen kann, ist ein ruhiges, ungestörtes Zusammenwohnen garantiert. Die Miete für das 12qm-Zimmer mit großem Balkon beträgt 580€. Die beiden freien Zimmer sind verbunden durch einen Flur (ca. 10 qm), den du auch nutzen kannst. Am Ende des Flures ist ein großes Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Waschmaschine.
**WICHTIG**
Die Kater werden am Abend ins Badezimmer gebracht und die Tür hinter ihnen geschlossen, damit sie niemanden beim Schlafen stören. Sie sind dann auch ruhig und schlafen die ganze Nacht. Wenn man nachts auf Toilette muss oder ein Waschbecken benutzen möchte, kann man das Gäste-WC benutzen. Das große Badezimmer wäre allerdings nachts eingeschränkt nutzbar, da die Kater wieder aktiv werden, sobald man das Bad betritt und die Tür öffnet. Es kann dann sein, dass sie miauen, spielen wollen und evtl. andere Mitbewohner stören/aufwecken. Hier muss man sich mit dem/der anderen Mitbewohner/in dann abstimmen, ob und wie das Badezimmer nachts benutzt werden kann.

Due to a scholarship abroad, I am looking for a subtenant for a furnished bedroom (12 sqm) with a large balcony in our spacious shared apartment (116 sqm total). The apartment consists of two individual apartments that have been joined together. The roommate Oliver, 34 years old, artist and computer scientist, lives in one part of the apartment. In this part of the apartment there is a guest toilet, a guest sink and the kitchen. I and the two cats Mashou and Loki usually live in the other part of the apartment. It would be nice if you had fun taking care of the cats while your stay in our flat.
Since you can close some doors between the two parts of the apartment, quiet, undisturbed living together is guaranteed. The rent for the 12sqm room with a large balcony is €580. The two free rooms are connected by a hallway (approx. 10 square meters), which you can also use. At the end of the hallway is a large bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine.
**IMPORTANT**
The cats are taken to the bathroom in the evening and the door is closed behind them so that they don't disturb anyone during nighttime. When the door is closed, the cats are calm and sleep all night long. If you need to go to the toilet at night or want to use a sink, you can use the guest toilet. However, the large bathroom would be of limited use at night, as the cats become active again as soon as you enter the bathroom and open the door. It may then be that they meow, want to play and possibly disturb/wake up other roommates. Here you have to agree with the other roommate whether and how the bathroom can be used at night.
Die Wohnung befindet sich in sehr ruhiger Lage nahe S-Bahnhof Wedding und U Leopoldplatz. Vom Balkon blickt man auf den Turm des Silent Green. Es gibt fußläufig ein paar Restaurants und Cafés an der Gerichtstraße und am Nettelbeckplatz, Supermärkte und ÖPNV sind auch maximal 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.
The flat is located in a very quiet street right across silent green close to S-Bahnhof Wedding (Ring, U6) and Leopoldplatz (U9). Restaurants, Cafés and supermarkets are close nearby.
Das WG-Leben ist eher ruhig. Der Mitbewohner Oliver ist Künstler und Informatiker und hat einen sehr geregelten Tagesablauf, verbringt viel Zeit in seinem Arbeitszimmer und an der Uni. Er ernährt sich vegetarisch. Es wäre schön, wenn du auch Vegetarier:in bist. Aktuell teilen wir die Lebensmittel, doch darüber kann man reden. Wenn sich ein gemeinsames Essen ergibt ist es schön, aber auch kein Muss. Eine offene, direkte Kommunikation ist wichtig in unserem Zusammenleben.
The daily life in our shared apartment is rather quiet. The roommate Oliver is an artist and computer scientist and has a very regular daily routine, spending a lot of time in his atelier and at the university. He eats a vegetarian diet. It would be nice if you were also a vegetarian. We are currently sharing the food, but you can talk about it and adjust it according to your preferences. An open, direct communication is important in our shared appartment.
