21m2 furnished room in a 120m2 flat on Siegburger Strasse in Wilmersdorf. The flat is ground
floor, in a really pretty house with a large garden that we can spend time in. The bedroom also
has a large window that looks over the garden. Outside, the street and neighborhood are quiet.
But we’re very close to the Ringbahn, U3 and U2 (5 min walk from Heidelberger Platz) and 15
minute walk away from U7 and U9. So it doesn’t take long to get to Tempelhofer Feld in the east
or Grunewald in the west.
Something to know is that the landlords live in the house as well, above our flat. They’re a nice
couple who wouldn’t get mad at you for playing music loudly or anything like that. But a pro-tip is
to introduce yourself to them and ask about their plants, they might invite you up for a sekt then!
Hello all! We are a WG of 4 and a half, currently 2 female, 2 male and one cat. There is a room available for sublease starting now until the end of February. A big room with a small one attached to it will be free from march on, but as it's quite expensive it's rather suited for a couple, good friends, or someone who can afford it. There will be another post for that on this profile, soon :) You will live with Kathi, Sebi, Micha and last but not least Ernest (the cat). We would like to find someone who would like to actively engagein living together, so we are definitely not a Zweck WG. That means we like open doors and
shared cooking/activities a lot, but also find it quite important to respect each other's need for
private space.
Currently we have a pretty ‘family-style’ living situation. We have (vegetarian) dinners together most nights, and especially as it gets warmer, look forward to shared activities outside like biking to lakes, taking the inflatable boat on a ride and hopefully even visiting some events playing electronic music.
We share most groceries currently but this is flexible and not a must if you want to live with us.
Some introduction to the people in our WG:
Sebi is 27 and doing his masters in Environmental Planning, but don’t say it in german cause it sounds more nerdy that way. He’s always active in something, whether it’s outdoor sports, travelling, photography or social events (currently biking is high up on the list). He is hoping for fun activities being possible this summer, like the many festivals around Berlin. We tend to end up in his room after dinner to watch movies or shows together.
Kathi is 26 and studying Urbane Zukunft. She’s the reason we always have fresh flowers in the
house! Don’t be surprised if you don’t see her before noon, and if you do need to wake her up just tell the cat to do it. She’s always up for a coffee, a bike ride to Grunewald, a glass of wine in the garden, or a really dark gruesome crime podcast.
Micha is also 26, studying Environmental Planning, and going to a demonstration at least once a month. He’s up for almost any activity, especially at night. Sadly though, he’s been infected with Toxoplasmosis, which means the cat controls his brain. Although it’s actually not so sad and a very happy obsession, you just have to be careful you don’t catch it too. Micha and Kathi share a large room and a winter garden together.
Ernest is 6, a real cowboy with an attitude. He’s very social. If he’s not following someone
around all day then he’s napping in Carissa’s room or hunting down some mice. Yes, pet his
belly with caution. No, don’t put him on your lap. Yes, give him snacks.
If you think you could be a good fit for our flat, write us a message with some details about
yourself and how you would imagine living together. If you want to, you can also include a picture or link to your social
media but there is certainly no need to do so :)
