The room is well tailored with high ceilings and big windows, so you can expect enough light comig in :) The ugly wallpaper (well, it's a matter of taste...) has been replaced by now ;)
Everything you see at the pictures will be in the room, except for the white table with the piano. Furniture you would have to take care of are a bed and a wardrobe. It might actually even turn out that you don't need a bed, but we would discuss it with you.
One thing should be said: You shouldn't have a problem with some low-level background noise. There is a constant humming coming from the motorway (no honks or anything irregular however). ;) Could of course also be quite meditative! You could also simply come by and listen if it's ok for you :) The former tenants did not feel too annoyed by it.
We're in 1min walking distance from the Ringbahn (Messe Nord/ICC) and from your window, you're even able to see the Funkturm (if you twist your neck a bit).
Only 3min away, there also is the Lietzenseepark which is ideal for relaxed walking and jogging, especially during coronavirus :) Otherwise, the Kantstraße and Bismarckstraße are in walking distance, so you have everything from culture to nice cafés to shopping...
Important note beforehand: It would be important for us that you accept the current coronavirus governmental orders and don't believe in conspiracy theories ;)
We are two students (26 and 28 years old) at the end of our graduate studies, and we moved into this flat a year ago because we were looking for a nicer and more personal home :) We've known each other from our studies, but you don't have to be afraid: We're very open-minded and happy to welcome someone as full member of the flat during your time here :) You should as well be someone tolerant, harmonious and reflective. Also, it's important for us that the apartment is kept in a good state and that you don't tenaciously ignore the cleaning schedule :P
Just btw: In fact, we speak German with each other, but as we don't want to exclude anyone, we thought it'd be best to write everything in English only (and we would be open to speak English or Spanish the whole time) ;)
The room would first be free until the beginning of August, but you can also stay for a shorter time if you like.
The other rooms of the flat:
- kitchen: very well equipped, particularly with a huge tea collection! There is enough space to move around freely and 3 to 4 people can take place at the table :)
- bathroom: renovated with a very pleasant raindrops shower :))
- floor: very spacious, so enough things can be stored and we even want to install a couch in the corner
